A couple of questions on city growth...

1. Does the city lose its population if its food production ever falls below its current population?

2. In case of the Slave Lord faction, does razing captured cities provide any benefit at all once the capital has swollen to Level 5 from all the extra slaves?

1. Yes, it does.

2. No, it does not.

With permission, I'll make one more question about growth...

I had no patience to verify it, but when I built the Sacrifice altar (growth penalty), the city (level 2) started to loose population. If population falls to level 1...has someone checked what happens?

What he said.

(Hint, slave lord is not worth the 2 picks in a custom faction... IMO)

You can't loose city levels again (there are certain spells that kills population, and me cheesing the maximum food with city enchants).

So all that happens is its going to take a lot of growth to get your city to level 3.
