[quote who="Sareln" reply="2" id="2690718"] Quoting TheBirthdayParty, reply 1 That's a good idea. Something that would make champions a lot more useful also would be to give them spell casting capability. Right now they're just a slight bonus i drag around with me to get them experience. All spellcasting is supposed to come from the sovereign (channeler). There are systems in place where sovereigns should be able to imbue their champions

Not sure necissarily the first suggestions, but definately agree about wild animals entering a city wreaking havoc yet not destroying the city.
I came across a character I wanted to hire. I did not have enough gold at the time, they required 64gp. So I followed them around until I had 65. However, without any obvious reason, their price went up to 160. Is this intended? If so why? This was about 8 turns of following her around. She did not fight anything or go over any goodie huts. debug.err: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8971392/debug7.err
Also here's the image of the error code:
Tried with explorer and firefox, but gave same error code. I check the kb size of the file and the pixel dimensions. Both fit the requirements. Tried two other .jpgs, no luck.
I haven't been able to successfully play far enough to find this out. There are blunt weapons and other weapons. Does the game factor in a difference? Are spears/pikes better against cavalry then sword and shield? Do maces do more damage than a sword vs. plate? etc.
Well damn, then we need a Mr. El Guapo in this game too! or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ioKto0di3EA&feature=related
So I defeated a sovereign. Down to 1 hp. He wouldn't become defeated after that. Just retreated off the tactical map. Then I went and defeated him in his only city. However he would not disappear. So I moved out and defeated him again. And now there's a graphic of him falling over and dying at the city over and over. Won't go away. I signed a non-agression with him after all this. I can't move my army directly onto his spot even though its the city center(the one I took from him). I can move
I was started on an island. Picked up an escort quest(didn't know I was on a small island at the time). Where I was supposed to escort the person to was not on the island/visible on the map. This was the very begining, so no ships to use. I'd just restart and try a new game, but figured i'd mention it. debug.err: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8971392/debug5.err Savegame:<a href="http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8971392/questsave.EleSav"

Click on the actual resource itself. There should be a wooden hammer in the bottom left of the screen. Click on that. If its greyed out a tooltip should appear explaining why you can not build on the resource.
Just downloaded the lastest version, .92. Tried to start a game. I was unable to move my sovereign. I created a city on my square, and the sovereign did not move off the tile like before and would not move after city creation. In fact his line of sight was gone too so there was more area clouded over. Debug.err: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8971392/debug4.err Dxdiag.txt: ht
Why would you raise or lower land besides to wanting to place a city at a spot or creating room for your sit in an area? Or creating a wall of mountains? Does flat land give city bonsuses? Or other things?
Bump
Somehow the view of my game got me so close that half the screen was filled with my sovereign's boot. The middle scroll wheel would not work. I could rotate the camera. Sometimes this would cause the view to be just the tile my sovereign was in with his bear and that filled the screen. Sometimes the view would be under the ground. Trying to load the auto-save did not work until after I exited out and restarted E:WoM. Debug.err: http
This happened to my when my sovereign was on auto move. I assume my sovereign in their path just moved onto the same space as an enemy.
My familiar attacked a wolf. Then the wolf attacked back. Then their graphics became or were obscured by brown blotches that moved around a tiny bit. The number 2(damage) kept popping up above them. It seemed like it would continue permanently except I was able to select my sovereign and cast icebolt on the wolf which killed it. Some of the male sovereign's clothing choices have the main and trim colors reversed. As well they do not have access to surcoats. Haven't checked out the females yet.
I'm still concerned about saved games crashing/being corrupted 70% of the time and the game slowing down until it becomes unplayable. Is this being adressed?
Is there a way to increase your sovereign's mana regeneration per turn?
happens every time i load a saved game.
[quote who="Tasunke" reply="9" id="2687222"]Well, TBP ... currently you can Wield a Shield With a Claymore! This is because All weapons are currently 1H (in practice) Bracers and Shield both count as "arm" equipment. Mainhand vs Offhand is purely cosmetic atm, since you can only equip one weapon, and your weapon slot is completely different than the arms slot (which includes shields) .... if you have a Bow and Shield, they show on the same hand.<br
[quote who="TheBirthdayParty" reply="16" id="2686632"] Quoting riadsala, reply 3 Maybe the rat quest is meant to be an in-joke? The game felt a lot more King's Bounty than I was expecting. Whereas FfH2 does the whole dark, dangerous fantasy world thing a lot better. What's FfH2? [/quote] Ooooh. Fall From Heaven 2. Got it.
[quote who="Malloreon" reply="5" id="2687134"]You get shields once you go down further in the armor tree (light plate and heavy plate I think it was), however, shields are currently occupying the same slot as bracers, so you can only have one or the other - not both. [/quote] Does that mean bracers are considered one-handed, thus excluding the use of them and say claymore or battle axe? You can wear...grr...what was it called....master work? light plate armour which includes ches
