How do I go about running E:WoM in a window(windowed mode?) using windows 7?
Are we supposed to not be able to lower land until its right before sea level? Is there a way to maybe "flood" land so a city without ocean access can gain it?
When a city becomes a metropolis isn't it supposed to gain more space "points" for building things? I had one become a metropolis and it did not.
I moved a fortified group onto a quest spot to recieve a spell book. Afterwards I was able to move a caravan. Then the turn would not end. I tried reloading, exiting the game and reloading, and it did not work. When I reloaded infact I tried moving a different unit with movement points and it would not move except out of its city. I do not have the right debug.err file since I tried to restart, but I do have the saved game. Savegame:<a href="http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8971392/Willnotproc
Sovereigns' maximum allowed number of enchantments should be based on intelligence, not essence. Particularly because you give away your sovereign's essence to heroes. Also, heroes should be allowed to use city enchantments. If not then their spell casting should be limited to combat and they should have their mana refilled after combat. If the latter is the case most heroes should also start out with much less intelligence.
After a battle I won the level'd up hero screen appeared. The game froze right after. Music was there and mouse moving, but otherwise frozen. Debug.err: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8971392/debug5.err
I pressed spacebar while I had a caravan selected. The game then froze, though music was still playing and i was able to start tasking manager(minimize E:WoM) Debug.err: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8971392/debug4.err
Attempting to build what looks like a grainery, but in the description it says its a bazzar. I am unable to take a screen shot. Two attemps have given me just a big black square where the image should be. However I can offer the saved game: saved game: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8971392/Graineryitssobizarre.EleSav
Did you start a new game without quitting all the way out after another game? I've seen this kind of symptom reported for that.
Can't remember for sure, but I do not think so.
I alt-tabbed from E:WoM and was left with a black screen(monitor in sleep mode) for quite a while. So I had to restart. I am unable to research anything. I mean I have the research points and it goes through the process, but all of the tech trees have no techs in them. Research becomes progessively more time consuming and no pop up advance choice occurs. I think I recieved a research point before i created a city or recieved some ancient knowledge before founding an initial city. Maybe this caused it? Debug.err: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8971392/d
I can not remember what happened right before the crash, but here are the files: zip: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8971392/Elemental0_98-2010-07-31T13-35-26-911.zip Debug.err: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8971392/debug1.err Dxdiag: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8971392/DxDiag1.txt
I attempted to move two peasants and one pioneer in a group along a road and E:WoM crashed. Debug.err: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8971392/debug.err Zipfile: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8971392/Elemental0_98-2010-07-31T12-48-39-940.zip dxdiag.txt: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8971392/D
And if the off shore waters of Elemental does not contain smelly Bearded Clams, then we shall search inland for some succulent Beaver Tail....
Indeed. Though fear the one eyed trouser snakes! They worm their way in.
A developer created monster/civ/spell creator and a server where we can upload the ones we create and download random sets of these for games.
I believe that there are techs that are rare and you will not see in every game regardles of how much you put into research. As well the chance of some techs appearing each time you research goes down with the higher level techs. So acquiring them isn't so easy and does take a few attempts.
I asked about this and if memory serves it will be changed/fixed.
Follow up with some Dead Can Dance tracks without lyrics. It won't get you back to the testosterone tones of the Conan soundtrack, but they'll definitely encourage an Elemental frame of mind.
I'd also suggest love spirals downwards and most cowboy junkies songs/covers of songs.
Two choices really. Intel Core i5/i7/i9 or a Quad/Six core AMD. Best video card you can afford (assuming it's a gaming rig). I assumed that WidowPC was a company so I found their web site. As I figured, waaaaay overpriced for what you get. Much cheaper to build yourself and get much better parts. $1050 for an i3-540 with only a 320 GB hard drive? Please. I spent just over half that

Off Topic: That's easily one of the HOTTEST Avatars I've ever seen.
You should check out the show its from, Skins. Their portrayel of two teenage girls in bristol falling in love is fucking brilliant. Though its season 3-4(4 not so much). Season 1+2
I assume you are wanting to build?
Well i'm probably going to have widowpc build it and so forth, but they will build to your speccs if you want and they have a lot of options so I'm very overwhelmed.
I'm planning on buying a new computer. Everything new except speakers(maybe new subwoofer). Looking online using google hasn't been that helpful. Sites seem to be out of date by at least a year. I'm going to go with WidowPC, but as for deciding on a processor, mother board, graphics card, etc. i'm at a loss. Tom's hardware is some help, but its only one website. Does anyone have suggestions on sites that offer up to date rankings of various hardware and any personal opinions?
I conquered Magnar III's city. He was standing outside it the following turn. So I selected everyone in the city using CTRL-left click and attacked him. Each individual unit went through their attack animation and brought up a defeat window after each animation. Though I did not recieve extra gold or exp. I assume if you select everyone like that and attack they should all be going at the same time like they do when just moving out of a city and thus only one animation, sovereign?, shou
