Nah. We just need to split experience between the heroes in an army, take it from there, and we are OK!

Edit: Double post....
Is experience split between the heroes in the army now, or do you still earn 4 times more experience from a battle if you use 4 instead of one hero? Didn't have time to test new patch yesterday..... ;)
The reload/save issue is completely up to the player. We shouldn't make the game unbalanced or non-challenging because some people cheat. But of course; The AI has to be able to deal with it too (or cheat for less impact of the maluses). As the poster above me mentioned, the way it works now is too exploitable.

As you say, from a end-user perspective all the rules and such _should_ be exactly the same as playing the NPC. The problem is that the *underlying code* is not set up to handle multiplayer and would need to be gutted. This is
This is such a super idea. Solves alot of problems, and makes for more interesting city building and hard choices. I support both tile limitation and upgrades for buildings.
Yep, I hope and believe the AI is intended to think like this.

See 0.76 update thread.
Well, increasing experience needed is OK, but the most important thing they should do is splitting experience between the surviving heroes in the battle. I see alot of people are suggiesting it, so hopefully they implement it. Guess it's a glip in the first place, and not an

Taking over a city should be a big deal. I like the garnisons they implemented, but they should make it even stronger. I'd like a siege system as well. It should take some turns before you can attack, based on the type of walls the city has, and what kind of siege engines your army has. No siege units at all vs high walls should mean having to starve the city down. That should take a looooooong time.
I agree with the easy experience issue, furthermore when the game counts individually the damage. I guess it wouldn´t be difficult to fix this.
The heroes you use in a battle should share the amount of experience the battle gives, the experience points should also be determined by the strength of the combined enemy army. So, if the wolf pack gives lets say 6 experience points to defeat, using one hero means he g
Oh, GalCiv2 is a fantastic SP game, but I have hot dreams at night of playing it in MP. Then it would have been the game I played the most, next to the grand EU3.
I'm just very glad Brad wants multiplayer, and that he hasn't given it up. Hopefully we will see it in the next expansion already: Elemental FE; Play the World! :D This game is already shaping up to be one of the very best games ever made, It's already on my top list among games like The Civilization-series, MoM, GalCiv, Europa-Universalis-series and Heroes of Might and Magic 4 (My favorite Heroes game, after that the series has been garbage.... But anyways, the Hero
Quoting 7EA, reply 16 I'm going with Procipinee of Pariden. I love strong magic, and the female characters are much nicer to look at (instead of those ugly men of Elemental. Can't we get same handsome males too?). I believe I also started with Pariden in my first game of WoM. I take that back, Relias is actually quite handsome now that I see him in-game. [/quo
Started playing, works like a charm so far! :D Edit: And already loving it! :)
Extracting......
Does anyone see anything already on his account? I have two entries, one for Galciv 2, one for Elemental... no FE yet, no grayed out or blocked or whatever. Is that correct? I am nervous! EEEK!
I'm nervous too. I see the same as you do, and no signs of the beta..... [e digicons]8C[/e] Clicking F5 every second can make disorders in your mind simular to the berserk spell.....
Nice read while waiting for the beta. Thank you, Froggie! It looks like this game will have a great feel to exploration, fighting for new land and ressources, and finally the map will not be urbanized totally in a few turns. God damn, I can't wait. I'll do my best beta-testing! :)
Nooooo, don't let FE's faith depend on the goodwill of the mob! [e digicons][/e] [e digicons]:S[/e]
