When I choose to load a game, I select the game to load. The loading screen comes up. However, after the loading screen disappears, I'm sent to a completely black screen that will eventually populate with info in the game. This is the part, though, that take a while. I'm sure FE will go through some optimizations that will help with this, but it seems like when the loading screen is gone it should go directly to showing me all of the units, cities, etc. Has anyone else
Lord Reliant
Is there anyway to reverse it? Seems like there should be a countermeasure.
Great suggestions! These little tweaks would go a long way to helping with some of the screen interactions. I've found the Equip/Trade screens a bit cumbersome to navigate.
In Heroes of Might and Magic they dealt with this somewhat by having tabs along the side that divided them by school of magic. This would be really handy.
Agreed! That would be very helpful.
I had the exact same experience today- my champion died, but since we won there were no negative effects. I don't mind but it seems like I'm cheating.
Thanks. Knew that, though I haven't actually seen how this works in combat. I'm pretty sure I've had this guy fight higher level creatures just fine. Maybe it's not working properly? He is using a bow, but I got the impression it would be any type of attack, not just hand-to-hand. Has anyone else seen this actually play out in combat?
The graphics are great except one area- hair. Women's hair seems to be good, but a lot of the guys' hair just looks silly/strange/odd. Some look like they have small rocks on their head. Lord Relias would look much more noble and formidable if his hair was better looking. Anyone else agree?
Nice! [e digicons]k1[/e]
I found this item (can't remember the event that triggered it, sorry), but there's a small typo. The word He should be His instead.
The tooltip shows up for the Use option (not sure if there should be one or not), but the tooltip itself is cut-off on the right side. Maybe because it's so short?
This portrait just looks like it's a bug. I couldn't tell at first that this was the woman's arm. If she was in a different pose or the image wasn't cut off, I'm sure it wouldn't look so strange.
I'm not sure if this is a bug, but I think it is. Should I be able to rename NPCs? I didn't actually rename the unit, but I'll try doing so. I could see renaming units I own, but probably not units I don't.
Consider removing the "Clear Forest" option if there are no forests present. Removing this would cut down on the menu option clutter.
The tooltip and description don't match for Bell Tower. Apparently the tooltip is correct, but the description isn't, at least based on having built this. It might not be a bad idea to double-check all tooltips and descriptions for consistency as things are changed. This would be an easy thing to get out of sync.
After a tactical battle, the mouse cursor stays as whatever it was previously, so a movement cursor, attack icon, etc. I'd expect it to change to the regular pointer after the battle. Strangely, when I tried to get a screenshot of the cursor, it wouldn't capture the mouse cursor!
I'd like to be able to hover over items I won from battle and view their info as a tooltip. I can't do that now. Highlighting Banishing Staff does nothing. Also, after winning, my mouse cursor doesn't change to a pointer. I'll file a separate bug for that.
When I choose the Settle option for my Soverign, my Soverign then is moved in a random direction. How about just leaving it there and letting me move it? In one case, I was almost moved right on top of a pack of wolves! In the picture above, I was moved south, but in other games I was moved north or south. I think one time I even stayed put. Maybe it depends on how many moves I ha
It would be great to tell what tiles are protected by monsters, that way you can somewhat determine what it is that they're on top of. It seems as though you can do this for friendly units simply by clicking on the tile/unit again, but it doesn't seem like you can do that for monsters.
These wolves have mastered the art of levitation! Almost all other units I've viewed have had correct portraits, but this one didn't. I noticed this problem while in battle against the wolves. I didn't look at the unit outside of the tactical view to see if it also did this there, but I'll check in the next battle and see if I get a similar issue with other units, though I do
The Cowardly trait is missing a tooltip description. Right now it just says "BlockAttack".
The same is true of razing resources. I gained a resource under my city's control, and razed it in one turn without even needing to send an army. Seems like you should at least need to send an army. Even moreso for razing a whole city!
I'm just a bit lost here- could someone explain the leveling system a bit better? You get +1 to a specific stat per level? Or +1 to each stat given bonuses by traits? Right now when my sovereign/champion gets a level, it's not obvious there's an inherent stat increase if that's happening (or am I missing something), other than whatever I choose for a trait bonus.
It would be excellent to see this improved. I get the impression some of these may be in here to determine what choices people are using and then make them the default and/or to make things easier for the devs. Either way, if they'll end up staying for the final version it would be great if there was some organization applied. I've seen some really elegant options menus from other games and can't imagine this would be a large task just to reorder things (hopefully).
There's a minor typo in the trait Healer. Armies should be army's.
