It's a good question. Guess you'd have to monitor each units XP before and after battle to find out. Sure would be preferable to see the end result in the end of battle wrap-up window though. Also, isn't higher Intelligence supposed to give more exp as well. I'd like to see that also figured in the end of battle wrap up. I'm guessing it is working fine, but just one of those small details that has yet to be ironed out for final release.

You want to write up the basic goals for whatever you're working on, then make a very detailed list of what is required to get there. It's VERY important to know what your target is, otherwise you'll just be flailing around writing code or making changes without knowing if you're getting closer to your goal or further away. It seems stupidly obvious that you want to have some idea of what you're mak

Leads me to suggest that perhaps a 0-tile city would be the best, strictly on this account. Have an icon marking a city in a tile but require units once they are already in that tile to 'enter city' as a separate move - like entering a cave. This is the only way we will get rid of teleportation if it is not addressed separately. Gives the added advantage of making sieges t

It seems I remember combat being like DA:O in that it went full speed, but you could pause to set your characters to do their thing, and then let them have at it until you wanted to pause to change tactics or cast a spell or whatever.

Don't forget a 5 grain city when looking at city details may not actually have started as a 5 grain city. If a bakery was built, it would have increased from 4 to 5 in the city details. Plus if any food resources were linked to that city (by being closest to that city) that would also have made it a larger number.
