Boogie hopefully you will visit this topic again, because I have a question. :) So...can we expect to have a well detailed statistic system also? [Unit, Player etc.] Something what we have in Civ4 for example...-> <img src="http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads/civ4screenshot
Quoting Tormy-, reply 192 So what? This means that the Sovereign itself must be resistant to the various fear based spells for example? Isn't this against the core concept somewhat? If an ordinary soldier can kill the Sovereign [theoretically], how come that he has no morale at all? Losing control of the game ending element is bad design for a strategy game.
</
What fear based spells? The ones that you have made up in your head? Even if there are fear based spells, I think it would be consistent for the sovereign to be immune to them. I can see why you want rez spells etc for the sovereign you are seeing the sovereign TOO MUCH as "just another (albeit powerful) unit. Could you imagine Sauron or Gandalf piddling themselves and running away under the influence of a fear spell? If they ever did retreat it wo

Its what was done in the medieval ages. Take a huge hit if you lose, but have the chance of coming back.
This system worked very well in the various KOEI strategy games. :)

This looks very simple so far...awesome! :D It's too bad, that we won't have a built in 3D unit creator however. [Like the Spore creature creator for example...] Why? Because that is very easy to use. "Ordinary people" won't be able to create 3D models at all...hopefully lot of experienced 3D modellers will play with the game, else....it won't be possible to create quality mods [Just think about a total conversion mod: I would like to mod in Orcs, Elves, Dwarves et
Quoting Tormy-, reply 188 It makes no sense, even if it's a fantasy game. Avatar or not, the Sovereign is a living being, since he can die in an "ordinary" battle even. Living being without morale? Whatever, this isn't very important anyways. It makes perfect sense. The entire UI is the Sovereign. Most of it is the Sovereign as ruler of a large (or otherwise) empire, direct

Routing as it is implemented in games means the unit loses morale and splits. Since I am the sovereign, I think it would be lame for him to rout without me giving the order. Do we have something like "morale" in the game at all? [I hope so of course

Hm.....we will have a unit editor? I thought that we will have to edit data files, or something like that.

If you're on 7, you might need to actually right-click the fonts and opt to install them explicitly, rather than just copying them.
Windows Vista Ultimate x64 [SP2 is installed also]. Thanks for the help Kryo, this worked. It looks like that simply copying the fonts wasn't enough. :)
True, and I would like to see more tactical combat related screenies. We've only seen 1 old screenshot so far, and frankly I don't like it. My biggest problem with it: the size of the battleground looks extremely small to me, hopefully they've changed that.

Dragons are a big thing in this game: https://www.elementalgame.com/beasts.asp I doubt you will be able to pet dragons in the game (be it because of eggs or similar) because it would devaluate them as "solitary creatures and powerful beyond imagination".
