I obtained one of them beast collars and took over a Albino Rock spider (strong) with my level 2 hero. Pow! 3 level ups (and the spider) Made for a very OP star
Taming, bribing (bandits or trained units) results in you winning the fight (defeating the enemy) and since the newly obtained unit took part in the conflict, everyone gets xp. Its an intended mechanic. You can only use those skills once per fight pretty much, and the rare occasions when you meet a single one (higher level ones) are so rare that they really don't add anything overpowered. Yes taming early a grizzly bear or w/e

I noticed similar, and I have empire factions warn me about the then highest-scoring empire faction being a mutual threat.

It affects all units with a physical attack, whether ranged or melee, but no, not magical attacks. Its really awesome with stacks of units ... it can make a stack of archers quite terrifying.

I've mostly had this issue with outposts built before getting the tech that auto-generates roads, and outposts where no overland route is possible due to blocking terrain (I've cast Arcane Monolith on inaccessible islands, and in the campaign over mountains to land on the other side that I later discovered didn't have an overland route). I've also been able to cast Arcane Monolith on some Blocked tiles.

I've not had Pull of the Earth spells before since I normally don't play this way (but in this game I'm playing the Scenario, so I don't get to pick my usual Nation and Sovereign traits), so dunno if this existed prior to 0.90, but the 'Pull of the Earth' spell knocks units prone when successfully cast, giving a "+Crushed" text rising from the target and the target will then spend its next turn recovering. However, against Abeix (the serpent of the chasm thing),

I am still playing the scenario, I haven't played any non-scenario games in 0.90, but I had not noticed this occurring in any games prior to 0.90 (of course the scenario wasn't out for us public beta testers prior to 0.90).

A neighbor's Bernese Mountain Dog actually became my companion for several years whom became quite attached to me, to the point I'd have to walk him home when his owners called because otherwise he would stay with me all day. I had a very similar experience, bondwise, later with a German Shepherd whom was my own dog. I actually like the close pack-bonds ... though, yeah, its difficult especially when you're a low-rung employee like myself and don't often get to wor

I worked with an open source hardware development group that hoped to ultimately make a self-replicatable 3D printer as one of its machines -- that is, a '3D printer' capable of producing an identical 3D printer using an open source premise -- full plans for building your own 3D printer such that anyone with the tools can do it. I think, like peer-to-peer, there is a lot of promise ... but, yes, the potential for abuse, too. I wish more independent creators would use pee
I hate to be a prick, but I'd much rather see bug fixes general polishing instead of new scenarios - or new anything for that matter Still a fantastic game!
IIRC, the FE scenario wasn't in the beta, it was only pushed out (outside their internal testers) until release ... and it had bugs. My guess is they hope to nip the scenario bugs in the bud before release this time. That's

I occasionally get DX errors while Alt+Tabbing between full screen FE and another Windows application. It seems to be more likely to occur if I spend significant time in another application, then Alt+Tab back.
Id say both defeating enemy Sov's (the first time) and entire factions should give fame for sure. Defeating a faction/Sov should be treated like a quest with a reward screen. Also I don't think defeating a faction is genocide. The population in their conquered cities is still around. (Unless they surrender, in which case I always thought they all suicided from depression). If you get the unrest down, you coul

Tom Cruise has been on my boycott list since his unhelpful and downright unhealthy comments on mental illness. I threw out Top Gun and my other Cruise movies, and will never spend another dime on any movie he stars in.

I have a Wisp which is supposedly immune to poison which is taking poison damage (which was inflicted via one of the Spit Poison abilities from a Rock Spider) despite having the poison immunity trait. I had not noticed this occurring prior to 0.85.
