Difficult to tell what's a special ability versus what's a spell .. in the Beta, Tame acted like a special ablity, now it acts like a special spell, so Ophidians are immune to Tame despite being Beasts.
I think you mean +1 Production per Essence and +1 Gildar. +3 production per essence with 3 essence would be +9 Production ... unless that's what you actually mean?
I ran into that as well a few times in 1.00. I thought one of the Empires for some reason got 8 points and when its randomly selected as the default for creating a new sov, it gave me 8 points.
I just conquered Havelkar from Magnar, and it had built out to touch forest tiles, enabling me to build a logging camp on a forest tile that was effectively snaked to (its not adjacent to the city square, which is normally a restriction for building a Logging Camp for
I disagree with any such list that doesn't include The Secret of NIMH. The Fox and the Hound were also good ... no love for the 1980s animated movies? I consider them to have been the epitome of animated movies.
Consider this post as +1 to aforementioned Interest. :P
WOOHOO! Unfortunately I think I should probably stick with 1.00 until I finish the tutorial I've been recording.

This is a recording of the turn before (Fall season) and the turn of (Winter season) the hang. I attempted to end the Winter season by hitting enter at around 3 minutes, 33 seconds into this clip. I hit 'pause' on the recorder at the end of this clip, hoping the turn might eventually finish processing while sparing the recording from the nothing going on while waiting for that to happen, and I left FE to try to finish proc

A group of Umberdroths? I'm lucky to find a single one. Being a Beastlord, I prize them greatly. I do hate that the AI disturbs all the lairs with their cities and outposts, but rarely seems to get attacked themselves.
I have gotten the most mileage out of the various spiders (crowd control). Many beasts are too frail to keep them around for long, though. I liked the cat-like beast which had such a high movement and a poisonbite, that could not be counter-attacked. But durability was on the low side. Slags definitely don't work, I have tried.
Plague stalkers. There's a non-plague versions of those cat
Microsoft and other publishers have no qualms at all about asserting ownership over your computer's hardware, so its not as though your data is safe on your computer. I'm not sure why so many consider the government as tyrannical but its okay for corporations to own you.
I like to play Pariden with Beastlord as my profession, so I can Tame myself a powerful military out of the beasts in the wilderness. :P
I've had stuck tactical battles where an AI unit highlighted, but nothing happened, but not end turn on the strategic screen.
Also, if I could capture one with Tame, what happens to it if I fully defeat the sovereign who summoned it?
I was perusing the CoreMonsterUnitTypes.xml and noticed Familiars are Beast ... yes, they look like a wolf, but it seems odd they'd be categorized as Beast, doesn't that mean they are vulnerable to Tame? If a rival sovereign summoned a Familiar and I Tamed it, would they still have to maintain it with their mana, and would the captured Familiar still have all of their sovereign's spells and abilities?
I tried the auto-advance, but didn't want to auto-resolve it because the battle was so delicate. Already lost a valuable spider, was worried I would also lose my great wolf if I auto-resolved.

Wow, apologies for my cursing. :P I shouldn't have said that, even for the tutorial.
This is the clip starting from just before the battle (it was part of the tutorial video I'm trying to put together, but as a result of the hang, I will have to go back to the last save and re-record), as I mouse over the city's units. At around 7m 35s in the video, a 4-group of Slavelings is highlighted but they just sit there, not moving. I wait about a minute and a half before giving up and closing Enchantress (I had it
