Its not a matter of willing, its do this or starve. That's not choice. And anyone profiting off putting workers through conditions like those should be prosecuted for manslaughter ... I don't care if its corrupt Bangladesh officials or stock traders on Wall Street. It gets really old listening to the wealthy complain about how greedy workers are, slamming underpaid workers as not being re
Quoting Chibiabos, reply 54Its not a matter of willing, its do this or starve. So what is the choice? Ok, don't invest in the country. Then what are the choices of the people?
The choice is to profit and reward onesself and foreign dictators to profit off the lowered bottom line from murdering labor organizers (to prevent negotiation for better pay), inhumane conditions (since b
If they're working there voluntarily they're not slaves. I'm not sure why this is such a difficult thing to understand. It gets really old seeing people complain about how evil companies are for outsourcing to other countries who have people willing to do the same job for a lot less while they themselves happily buy products made in those same third world countries. People pat themselves on the back for sup
The Marketplace Fairness Act… at least it used to be called that, is now being pushed through the Senate. Thanks for the “fairness”. They probably won’t even read it… as usual. “Proponents argue the proposal confirms the ability of states to charge sales taxes as they see fit, and they have begun to frame the issue as a matter of states’ rights. In a letter to the Senate, David French of the National R

There's a panther hero who can't wear anything, but can equip any magic item (but no mounts), kinda funny to equip throwing knives with him. XD He's actually kinda useful, despite not being able to wear armor ... he starts out pretty high level, so has quite a few HP, and has a natural maul attack and I found him very useful to help take out high level monsters including the end boss with +growth and +haste.

The AI seems to regard webbed non-melee units as disabled, as if I have spiders and web enemy ranged units or casters, they skip their turns (won't fire arrows nor cast). If I move a unit next to an AI melee unit that has been webbed, though, their melee unit will attack. This is persistent from FE.

I've found I don't need to, as I take a Spell Mastery bonus that really helps out. Even in early game, my Sov rarely misses a Tame cast. I try to use a Familiar to extend it, but the horrible shortcomings of Familiars make it excruciating -- yes, I can accept the low hitpoints and no armor, but not being able to cast the Mantle of Oceans spell nor improve its spell mastery makes the Familiar a very expensively unreliable knock-off.

In no way, shape or form should a premium DLC ever be considered a patch for a vanilla game. The moment you find it okay to charge someone money to fix your broken product is the moment you openly acknowledge capitalism is unjust. I haven't bought ME3, and don't care to discuss on the specifics of its storyline so as not to spoiler myself should I pick the title up someday, but in general it is terrible enough so many software publishers refuse a money back guarantee to

I'm not sure why this is a surprise to anyone. After the Assassin's Creed II debacle, why in the hell does anyone keep paying for this crap? Seriously, why -- you, the person who went out and bought it -- why? What made you think always-on DRM deserves another chance? Gamespot just generously gave SC5 a 5.0 score. That's generous in my book, because they gave War of Magic a 4.0. While, yes, War of Magic was a disaster, at least you could a

The game gets confused when you wind up with a unit in the same tile as an enemy or a treasure and it won't let you move another army to get the treasure or attack the enemy. I get this quite a bit as Beastlord upon Taming a beast in a tactical battle ... if there is not enough room in my army (with my Sov casting Tame), the Tamed beast will stay in its starting tile with no movement points, even if there is another enemy army there. If there is no enemy army, it won't let

I've won several games gaining Alliance victory merely by building a military using Beastlord's Tame.

IIRC, Governor wastes upgrades on things like lowering city unrest, which already zeroes very easily so can't get any lower than that.
Fallen Enchantress at two weeks Fallen Enchantress has now been out two weeks. So far, we’ve sold about 50,000 units (give or take). This is somewhat below Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion but, obviously, far far ahead of War of Magic during the same time frame.
Is that sold as in -sold- or does that include the giveaways to us WoM early birds?
Yeah Im going to change this so that magic immune makes you immune to all spells/abiltiies. The only abilities that are on the edge (that i could imagine a resistance chance for even if you are immune to magic) are Stun and Tangled Web and I think its just easier to have magic immunity make you immune to those as well.
That should up their deadliness rating, I think, if they're immune even to Tangled Web and skills lik

I concur wholeheartedly. :) I've been working on a video tutorial, in fact, espousing the wonders of Beastlord. Hooray for a powerful military, no need to tie up researching military tech instead of magic or civilization branches of the tech tree, no need to tie up your cities training troops instead of making buildings or Wonders, and best of all, no maintenance on Tamed units. :) I love going for the web casting spiders first, as they make it easier to tame others. &

Unfortunately I did not get a 'before' shot of just mousing overing the Ophidians with the Beguile skill from these Black Widows chosen, but it did indicate a 100% chance of resistance from the Ophidians indicating their spell immunity applies to the Beguile spell, but nonetheless each Black Widow was able to successfully Beguile

The last of the recordings is complete (finished the game ... I'll leave how it ended as a surprise), but encoding is taking ludicrously long. One video is going to take 13 hours to complete its 2nd pass to encode :/ Time now to install the beta patch and play some games without recording them. Its a lot more work than I thought ... but I'm learning some things so hope to make another recording, but its going to take days, I expect, to catch up on encoding the reco
Although, mentioning dragon training as a type of magic or 'specialization' sounds bloody awesome. Flying mounts? Yes, please.
