I am pretty sure its been that way since the first publicly released beta, like 0.8X or somesuch. It is a bit odd, given you don't get your second one until 50 fame, and from then on it doubles every time -- 100, 200, 400, 800, etc.
Always check for special abilities before entering battle, and never auto battle a Banshee. Learned that the hard way. I like that they are magic immune, feels all the better when I do take one down.
They are not magic immune, they are immune to all physical attacks and only magic can actually hurt them.

In the words of Brad Wardell: http://www.gamersbillofrights.com/ - "8. Gamers have the right to use their games without being inconvenienced due to copy protection or digital rights management." I'm sure frogboy will ribbit me hard if I mis-characterize his take in my paraphrasing what I recall him having said before on the topic ... but obtrusive DRM is an all around lose -- its a lose for you because it costs money and

The "Next champion at" fame level indicated in the mouseover over your fame level gives an incorrect fame amount if your Fame drops below what was needed for your previous champion due to consuming fame through, say, building Henchmen. I noticed this after getting my 50 fame-level champion, then building Henchmen which consume 20 fame, then the "Next champion at" indicated I would get a new champion at 50 fame (which I had already surpassed then fallen below). However, upon re-sur

I have an older system, an AMD Phenom II 9600 quad core with 4 GB of RAM ... I've had no problems with lag or unresponsiveness except in the campaign. At certain points, things ran very slowly ... one of the worst lag-inducers was a tactical combat map in the campaign I don't recall having seen outside of the campaign which had a lot of trees, several in every tile in fact, and each tree had shadows, I think the overwhelming number of trees and shadows are what caused t

Its a random map, and the game was generated new with LH 0.92 (it was not loaded from a game started originally under an older version). I noticed after clearing this wildlands that the invisible river was removed -- I could cross the tiles normally, no river restrictions.

Important to note that FH is still in Beta. There seems to have been something changed in the Initiative system in version 0.92 of LH (this did not occur in 0.91 or earlier) tactical combat that's been causing frequent bugs for me trying to +Tame groups of 4 or more beasts ... Tactical combat has frequently become stuck doing this when the game gives essentially unending tactical turns to one unit (never allowing any other unit to take a turn after it). Some old bugs are still

I just had an odd variant of this: I lost several +Tamed units in tactical combat fighting Vetrar (only one of which, a pack of Ice Wargs, were +Tamed in that battle -- three other +Tamed beasts, all Black Widows, had been +Tamed in previous tactical engagements). All of them returned with 0 HP ... however, upon entering another Tactical combat, all the 0-HP units appeared initially, but despite healing one with my Sovereign before it had its first turn, every single one died afte

Not giving a damn about what Trekkies though is exactly why it shouldn't be called Star Trek. Its very reminiscent of what Alan Emrich did to Master of Orion III. JJ Abrams is Star Trek In Name Only, just as Quicksilver's Master of Orion III is Orion In Name Only. Star Trek was not meant to be a plastic action series, it had a niche following and its abandoned it. That's like creating some ritzy sparkling wine and calling it champa

I am experiencing this fairly regularly in 0.92 while using the same personal strategies and tactics I have in previous versions, and in Elemental: Fallen Enchantress (before LH), but never before had I encountered this, so it seems highly probably something changed in 0.92 has introduced this bug. The bug does not trigger consistently, but when it does occur, it seems to occur with the following conditions: There are four or more enemy units (it could be fewer th

The report specifically stated IE 10 as one of the five most popular browsers, which is an untrue statement ... if they specify version, the version they specify needs to meet their qualifications, which it does not. It did not test the security of the most popular versions of IE (9 and 8). That's dishonest. WHO CARES about integrity in advertisements claiming to be unbiased reports despite failing a cursory examination? I do for one, as would anyo

IE 10 is not among the five browsers with the most market share; as of May 1 -- less than three weeks ago -- IE 10 only had 6% of the market share: http://news.cnet.com/8301-1023_3-57582279-93/ie-10-doubles-its-share-of-desktop-browser-market/ IE 9 and IE 8 both have much larger market shares, but the 'lab' forgets those basic facts which discredits their report

It depends a great deal. I've had heroes that could take on huge, powerful enemy armies or even a dragon single-handed. I've gotten Ascian, a hero stalker you can get from a quest, whom has good damage with maul and can transport through several enemy troops in a line, causing heavy damage to each. Its a matter of equipment and promotions normal trained troops (not counting Henchmen) don't have access to. There's also the issue that ... if you had a h

This occurred again in a new game attempting to +Tame 3 Silt Skaths. I've never encountered this before 0.92, so it seems to be new to 0.92. Was something changed with the +Tame mechanic, or possibly how tactical turns are ordered that is causing this? There do seem to be new quirks with tactical turn ordering, even when I don't encounter this ... turn shares seem a lot less even than they used to be. Yes, I am well aware that "initiative resonances" normally

I'm a Trekkie dinosaur, the sort miffed by the first JJ iteration ... what irked me the most was the "comic superhero-ization" of the TOS characters ( especially James T. Kirk) and the re-write of so much that not even the "new timeline" can explain, such as the idea that Chekov and Kirk's careers in Starfleet started virtually simultaneously. Yeah, Shatner's Kirk was probably rightfully mocked for Shatner's wooden acting ... but however much of an egomani

This has been happening since FE. For some reason, hostile beasts you +Tame in Tactical Combat resurrect if they are killed (but not beasts you +Tamed in previous battles that are in your army going into the current tactical combat). I dunno if this is a bug or intentional.

I have reproduced this twice ... once going back to the autosave this morning ... and anticipating the possibility the same encounter will get stuck, I saved just before initiating the combat and, indeed, the bug reproduced and a second time after reloading my manually saved game. I recorded this bug with Microsoft Expression's screen recorder, am encoding it now and will then upload it. Savegame: <a href="https://docs.google.com/file/d/0ByxJB3KvvsoJX0N2cm04ajAwSEU/edi
