When you click on a monster in strategic, it should show which are it consider its own. When someone settles within this area, the monster should attack and defend itself.

Yes, the low level units go away early. They dont give much experience to kill, so I dont save them for spawns. If a monster army takes a city its destroyed. Should happen more often (at least on Challenging and beyond). The monster lairs will spawn armies, and I have heard of random events that makes new monster lairs (but they are so rare, that I have only heard about it). There should be enough stuff out there to kill, so that you should not have to "farm" spawns. I do some farming if I play Resoln (I leave bandits alone to level the death shard demons on). There is a spell that creates a nasty new spawn lair, but I will not spoil it for you ;)

The spamming should be punished more by monsters, so that you would have to think about expanding. Please frog, make it so :) Essence is extremely important now and you should settle all places where you can get cities with essence.

I took the city as a test, and the monsters attacked on the turn after. That is not good. Since the frog claims that the monsters doesnt differensiate between human and AI, it means that the triggers for monster behaviour needs to be addressed.

The problem now is not that they are useless, but the fact that the monsters are so tame. You dont have to defend yourself, but can walk around and level your heroes.

I have made a post about the balance of Ceresa before. She is strong, but you are force into the death shard/demon/death magic path. There are no alternatives. I never use the other binding creatures or the spiders she can produce.

I dont know how many posts like this I have commented on, but I will repeat again. The demons that split from the death shard (you should cast corrupt on all shards you get), are FANTASTIC. When they have split to 9 units and gotten a touch of levelling they have 240 hitpoints. This could be early game (you can split them more than once pr battle). Just babysit them for their first kill (bandits are good for this). They will not do as end game units, but then you should have had plenty of tim

This is how they work: 1. They start with 8 hitpoins and get more when they split or level 2. When they are at 9 units, no more splits 3. If they get injured their number will drop (like any unit), but they can heal back to the number of units that you have split them to. Example: You have a full health group of 9 units with 240hp.
