The film was as I expected. Good effects, full of action, little substance. The more I think about the move the less I like it. So I dont :)

I have just started the Long War mod. February is fine by me :)

Bought a game for a friend, but my backlog is way to long to buy.... or rather I actually bought Plants vs Zombies for a dollar. My son loves tower defense (he is almost six now). And I got Unstoppable Gorg for free (thanks Raven)

A little tip. Buy backup services from Norwegian companies not american ones. Much stronger privacy laws in Scandinavia.

A more "living" world. I want mercenaries with AI attached. Hire them, tell them to harass enemies (but you dont control them directly), tell them to remove a tough monster and so on. Have monsters with AI. Some like to follow and hunt the players, others devour smaller monsters and get stronger, others multiply if left alone ++

I am a huge CIV IV fan, but I think that solid strategy is almost dead in the Triple A sense. XCOM is the exception. I never bought CIV V or CIV BE. Only indies make strategy games these days. Rebuild 3 looks to be a lot more fun than this for 3% of the budget or something like that.

CIV IV is top of my list of best strategy games ever made :) Total Annihilation is top for RTS for those who might care ;)

Star Wars will be a fully commercial product all the way. All characters will be designed to also look good as toys and will be on tons of merchandise. There will be no political messages or controversy (intended at least). The ending will be bittersweet, but optimistic. THIS IS DISNEY! ;)

I also bought a couple of other games, and I havent tried this game more than 5 minutes yet. Rebuild 3 got my attention. Though still in early access, it got me totally hooked last night. Highly recommended.

Its 50% off now. I got it based on this post :) Havent tried it yet.

CIV IV is the best game ever made (possibly tied with MOO II), and CIV V is just not up to the same standard in my book. Warlock is rather fun, and I have spent tons of time playing it. Crusader Kings scare me as I suck at remembering ppl in real life.

Got a bloated backlog, and there is not much new in the strategy department atm. I already got Endless Legend, Scorcerer King, AOM III, Warlock II and basically all that matters :P

I was initially disappointed by the game, but after patching the game has grown on me. Its a pretty good game, and more stuff will help even more
