I agree, BUT monsters should be more aggressive too. As it is now, hardly any monster will attack cities or outposts if you only kill the mite infestation

Yeah, now I remember. What I do is click on "enemies in your territory". This will normally get me to the monster that has destroyed something.
I pre-ordered the game a few days ago and played 1.5 games so far (game #2 kept crashing on "end turn", so I abandoned it). The game is promising, but there is some work left. I know what a beta version is, so I have no problem with this. I also know that I cannot expect a full manual and have to find out many things myself. But after some experimenting and searching, several questions remain unsolved. Can someone please help a total beginner in the world of eleme
We are past the point of such changes. What we could do it make monsters tougher, so that you need units to help. Could also be helped by making monsters more aggressive.
They will add content in Beta 5, so I think there will be more stuff. More monsters, items, quest and such. I hope they spare some stuff for release that we havent seen in the beta. Monster slider is much needed :d
Could we pretty please with sugar on top have a slider for monster aggresiveness? As it stands now, the monsters do not punish expansion, they dont come for you ever and they dont defend their area. I want a slider like Docile - Tame - Normal - Roaming - Aggressive - Nasty [e digicons]:')[/e] And bring Umber back ! [e digicons]:troll:[/e]
Its a bug with henchmen (Altar). Its been with us since they made henchmen. I am a bit surprised that the faction specific stuff hasnt been fixed yet. How can one balance a faction that does not work as intended? Henchmen that you design very often cannot be produced afterwards (they are not in the unitlist)
1. Increase monster aggressiveness, or make it an option for those of us who want the world to be MORE random, unpredictable and dangerous !!!
[e digicons]k1[/e]
But I am always game for watching a playthrough by the way. I am not trying to criticize you here. I just like to play with the hand you are being dealt.
I am not saying I can beat the settings (havent tried). I dont custom make my sovs either. Just use the stock ones. I play on hard, medium map and dense monsters. My biggest problem right now is that the world is so tame, that you can expand with little chance of being whipped by the wild.
A lot of people loading Beta 5 will notice that something is different, but having difficulties putting a finger on what it is :d
I will give em a chance. I am like them, where is the next MOO II?
I dont like the fact that you reroll your starts mister. Thats a cop out. [e digicons]:troll:[/e]
Yep, I have seen the same. You get a bit too much dodge from the fortify "spell"
There is a wither issue if attack or defense goes to zero. This is fixed in an internal build (confirmed by Stardock). Probably means that the bug you experience is killed too.
I cast Shadow Rift three times inside another players city radius and nothing spawned. When I cast out in the wild, an army spawned immediately. This cannot be right?
I wish my boss understood this....
Equipment given to henchmen disappears and custom design henchmen does not appear in the production list.
@taltamir - Thanks.
and another thing. I got a random event (I think it was that all units in production got finished), and I clicked too fast by accident. There was no notification on the eventlist to the right. It should be added there, so that I could see what it was.
Usually when I play, I quit when I have the upper hand. Its just too much work to see it all through when you know you are winning. This time I did it all and it was interesting. Settings: Large map, Hard, Dense monsters, Cesera (spelling?), as presented by game, Resoln. The start of the game went as usual. Lots of mites, bandits and wolves. Got two shards and thereby two death demons (the ones that split). These demons was split to max on the bandits, mit
I agree. The monsters should also be more aggressive about attacking outposts and cities on challenging and beyond
@spriditis - I agree. There is little wildness to fight, so its just killing mites/wolves/bandits and producing pioneers
Yup. Lets just hope its on the list in Beta 5
Its one for tactical and one for strategic use. Should have been explained better in the GUI
