Let me rephrase and say that theoretically, you have cheap access to the Chalice. I haven't seen your pretender in action, so I can't comment on that. Though I have been watching your Tartarian Monstra with some interest.

In Vanilla, Tartarians really are a tad too cheap. 15 death gems is chump change for what is essentially an insane pretender. Healing them takes a bit of work, but Shadowtongue, as Ulm, has very cheap access to The Chalice, and already has Gift of Health running.
I've found it repetitive even after 5 or 6 hours. Fun, but minimal replay value.
The end of days approaches. The first of Ulm's Tartarians has been discovered. Tremble.
Hey everyone! I'm back and will be resuming my duties in the near future.
I'm off everyone! See you all in a week.
On that note, most email clients save a copy of your sent attachments. You can just resend the 2h file you sent last time.
I had the same issue with banishment and blessing in one of my battles :P
Heavenfall, I see it a little differently, though I agree with the way it's progressing.
From what we've seen the last two episodes, the tall aliens, apparently the ones who are in charge, don't get their hands dirty. The get their skitters and mechs to do it all. The skitters, we learned, have been harnessed themselves. Wait for the upcoming "big twist" in which we learn that the skitters weren'
I haven't had any replies to my post looking for subs. I'm going to post within each of my games, as perhaps some of you would like to babysit my nation in my other games, and perhaps someone there would come baby-sit for this one. I've got three games I need subs for, starting a week from now (evening of the 19th would be ideal), and lasting until the 27th, when I return from camping. There's DawnoftheMorning (This game). This one is the most involved, and the
Black News from the front! Caelon, Hero of Caelum, the nation's most powerful Eagle King, unquestionably the greatest practitioner of Air magic in the world, Hall of Fame darling, with 610 PERSONAL KILLS to his name, was killed by a stray spear fired randomly from C'Tis' defensive tower in the first round of combat. The entire world morns his tragic death.
In a similar move, C'Tis attempted to use Darkness and Undead to break the siege of their capital, to less satisfactory results.
Clearly someone fears your impending Tart spam. I be you already have the Chalice.
I love the 4X games. One game that I think should be remade was the extremely underrated game Emperor of the Fading Suns. What impressed me most about that game was a distinct history and distinct setting. It took the gothic sci-fi to the extreme and when playing the game you felt that you were in a gothic sc-fi setting similar to warhammer 40k. It would be great if this game were updated because it would feel different t
Despite PCG's review, I'm still very much on the fence. The first "3 Ways to Play" video Eidos put out (the alley scene) really turned me off. It showcased a small, enclosed, and surprisingly linear level. The amount of choice offered was superficial, and well below the level offered in Deus Ex. The newer video does a better job of showing how the different approaches play out differently, but not by enough to clear that terrible first impression. Gone, as the PC Gamer review glossed
Sorry bpalczewski- that lone itemless commander that "attacked" you was supposed to be a spy :P Not that I'm spying on you, of course.
Last turn, for the second time, I made use of Wrathful Skies, again to mixed results. While the damage to my troops was reduced, the AI casting Ironskin (-75% shock resistance) on my otherwise lightning immune Eagle Kings was not appreciated. Three brave Eagle Kings were lost as a result, and a few sustained afflictions.
A week from the 20-27th, as I undertake the infamous West Coast Trail. There is the tiniest chance that I will be late returning (accidents, poor weather, and other such things are not uncommon occurrences), but in my previous two trips, I managed to finish in 5 nights. A slowdown in turns is fine with me. Last two turns I spent an hour or more continuously tweaking and scrapping turns.
Last turn marked the first time I have ever cast Storm, Storm Power, and Wrathful Skies. I think ghostwes will agree that it was rather more damaging to me than it was to him!
The war between The Eagle Kings and the unending horde of cold-blooded reavers rages on. Border territories continue to trade hands, while Caelish commandos strike behind enemy lines to relieve the C'Tisian slaves of their yokes. But while the Caelish rule the skies, the C'Tisian necromancers and their perverse power have proven to be a formidable force on the ground.
Ugg, had a province next to my capital hit by two barbarian hordes this turn :P
I'll throw my hat into the "I wish I could" ring as well. I'd love to get into another game, but I won't be joining any new ones until after a a camping trip in late August.
Meh, I got hit with 5 or 6 unrest events at my capitol in the first year! Including one turn where the unrest kicked over 100 and I couldn't buy anything. It evens out, sorta, eventually
The 3x indy attack province was 1 turn from producing a fortress , and I'd pumped up the PD just in case. :( that was a painful loss for me.
