I'd be up for some games if you're ever looking for other players in the future. I started playing again a few weeks ago, after a rather long hiatus. I last played sometime immediately after Sona was released. Right now I'm mostly playing bot games to while I get back into the swing of things and come to grips with changes to some of my favorite champs (I'm looking at you, Jax!)

I remarked in a recent post that I thought Space Empires 4 was the last game to unite a deep strategic game with an equally deep tactical game. As I'm still playing and loving the game more than a decade since it was released, and as I haven't found any 4X game released since to really match it, I thought I might offer you fine folks something of a review. As Elemental, and GalCiv before it, are 4X titles, you might find it relevant. And, hell, it's 2:30 AM and I'm suffering f

SotS2 still isn't great. It improves with each update, but I wouldn't pick it up yet. As for SotS v Endless Space, I'll side with SotS. Endless Space is highly derivative. This isn't necessarily bad. In fact, what it borrows from the MoO series--heroes, planetary features that drive specialization--are done well and serve as some of the game's better areas. What it borrows from GalCiv--the shallow, extremely dull, rock
Are these realtime ? And who recommends which?
None of those are real time. Of them, I reccomend MoM, AoW 2 the most. Dom 3 and CoE 2 are (IMHO) great games, but some people don't like them. I'd try out the demo for Dom 3 and the free release of the original CoE first to see if you like either of them.

Along with today's patch, KP put out a much more robust manual. It's full of typos, but the information in it is infinity better than the first edition, especially for players new to the series. It will also give people who haven't bought the game a better idea of what it's like. http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=41901&d=13

Ugg, wrote a rather lengthy response to have the server lose it... Blargle. Well, so sum things up, I'll say this: While both E:WoM and SotS2 had disastrous launches, they did so for fairly different reasons. Elemental failed in a large part due to poor underlying mechanics. The game, if we ignore the bugs, was bad. Something which we can see in the way so much of the game's mechanics, since launch, has been gutted, added too, or otherwise rewritten, and while Brad said that F

Thank you kindly. Transferring the install file now, but my home connection has a measly upload rate of about 100kb/s. I checked with those few people I know who play dominions, but none have the time to sub :(

Hey Wonderloss, could you postpone hosting by 12 hours? I should be able to access my network from class and install Dom on my laptop (I don't know why I jhavemt yet) to get my turn in, but just in case...

Like you, I main a lot with Akali, and mix it up from time to time with Jax, WW, Ashe, Nocturn, and Malphite. I definitely have a "type." From my experience, Zil just takes a completely different skill-set from the one I evidently have. I just don't do very well, even in bot games, though I can't pin the issue down to one specific failing. That said, You do see some absolutely fantastic Zil players.

Our game in particular seems to be cursed. I'm not having the same issues with missing turns, hanging turn generation, etc, in my other two games. I'm not sure what we did to offend Llama. Just a head's up that I'll be less active here and in sending in games as I make the switch from college to university and get to grips with my more demanding schedule. I'll probably be sending turns in close to the deadline.

They are, thematically and in terms of relative power, vanquished pretender gods which you are pulling back from tartarus. There's nothing like having a few undead cyclopses, complete with magic paths, running around stomping on your enemies. The real kicker in vanilla, though, is that once you have Gift of Health up (and Mother Oak to ensure you never effectively lose it), those tartarians are practically free. 15 death gems and and a dozen turns to cure afflictions isn't much of a p
