I think a few of us have backed you today, since igorCRO spread the word :)

I've scouted a possible area for a guild run: The plant people don't get more than their starter area to themselves, instead sharing the Brisban Wildlands (15-25) with the Asura, and Kessex Hills (15-25) with humans. Either of which works for me, as I haven't explored them, but perhaps less useful for the others. Both are easy to access, with Brisban being the second zone directly north of Rata Sum, and Kessex 2 zones directly south of Divinity's Reach. They are also d
Dax has, more than once, come to hang out with me, whether it be to collect resources or to help take down a champion spawn. He's been pretty awesome. The rest of you, though, have been Antisocial Archibalds!
For those of you who haven't added me, do so. My username is Louist. I'm up for games whenever I'm on.
Well, as our levels are slowly increasing, even with the constant restarts, we should aim for one of the 15-25 (or whatever) areas. I'm not sure how many plant folk we have in our guild, but I don't think there's many, so their territory should be one where we will get the most benefit. Unfortunately, I haven't been there enough to know the name of the area, but I can scout it out a bit on my next session, and provide a more exact location. [quote who="SpardaSon21" rep
Tell me more of this Tribunal stuff.
Sounds good to me. I'm eaaaasy.
This makes me frownie face.
funny thing about old games... when i was a kid with barely any english... there was this fantasy game with staff +1 obviously i didn't know staff means stick. nor did i know +1 refers to enchantment. so i was wondering why the party size didn't increase...
Welcome to the uninspired legacy of D&D :)
I haven't had it work once. It's a real pain.
Here's the grouping issue as I see it: You can form a party spread over any zones and any overflows (of which there are multiple). But in order to actually play together, you have to all be in the main zone. That's fair enough, I suppose. But there are some huge issues that are holding this system back. First, queue times to get out of the overflow in busier areas are 20-30 minutes. Second, every time you change zones, or use waypoints
In other news, I managed to get 100% completion on my first zone. The reward was decent; cash, xp, karma, as well as two green items, some transmutation stones, and 40 copper. Not terrible.
Alright folks, I've recruited a new member (Ninebears/Ankhtepot.5369). He seems decent, if perhaps a bit older. I was helping him with a skill challenge, got to talking, and he didn't run screaming in fear, nor did his head explode/melt/combust when I told him the "Good Word" about PeterDumpTruck. So hurrah! Also, we need to get those membership ranks sorted!
Yeah, started a ranger last night, in part to go through grabbing resources with going completely daft, and in part to train a class that can hold their own in WvWvW.
ffs dax! Slow down, man! :p
Quoting KrdaxDrkrun, reply 69Dungeons are actually quite fun Speaking on the later, I had some fun doing it last night, but the Firestorm spam drove me crazy. Currently it rewards classes that are more focused on AoE ranged damage. Melee is put to shame and guarentees 80% the time your gonna die.
Ha, the PetterDumpTruckians noticed that as well! Though I think we had move trouble with the AoE arrow spam :P
Yeah, around level 30 I got a couple mails sort of... introducing me to my local dungeon.
No, just length and width. That said, I love multistory rooms and grand halls. All of my fortresses have them at the expense of less desirable things such as farms or bedrooms.
Well hopefully they can fix that up soon. I've noticed they've had some network issues on their end. Also, have a look at what ports the game needs open, and pass that on to your antivirus and/or router firewall. I had some trouble with connectivity before I did that.
I'm in for some pvp tonight. Any specific time? I played a lot in the last couple days, so I'm taking it easier tonight, limiting myself to an hour or two.
I felt the same way about suppression fire.
The first computer game I ever played was... Well old. I don't recall the name, but it came on a big old floppy, and you designed and sold consumer robots. That's the extent of my memory.
Crafting. Ugh. I finally surpassed 100 in both Armour and Weapon smithing. It's a chore. Even if you mine/log every ore/tree you come across as you play normally (and I mean EVERY one!), you will still fall way short of the lower tiered resources. I've spent an addition 6 hours JUST mining copper, in areas at least 15 levels below me, so that I can work my way up to iron items. And I'm hardly alone here! When the market opened today, copper ore was selling at 27 cp
Towns, honestly, is a just a straight up and poorly done rip of DF with ugly isometric graphics and worse UI. I'd place the Dungeon Keeper games in their own Genre (With Evil Genius, perhaps?), but I can clearly see the connections you're drawing.
I'm still.... digesting... the classes and abilities. I'm not opposed to them, per se, but I'm not excited about them. Still, it's looking decent.
