I've sent turn 18 in twice without a response from llamaserver. Anyone having similar issues?

The Eagle Kings think this would be a fine moment to remind the world that they taste very much like spoiled rabbit. No reason to eat them. Nope.
A truly massive host of Sauromatians has been spotted on the borders of our mammoth nature preserve. For their own safety, the Eagle Kings ask that they step away from the fence. It's electric.
I have been interested in this game for years off and on. I read that as many as 20 people can play online at once. How long would a game like that take? And is there ever going to be a new version of Dominions?
Using the all-eras mod, you could have over 60 players in one game. Theoretically, you could have a number more by playing with user created nations, though there must be SOME upper limit. A game like that would
Further: if Mammoths are that dangerous please keep them leashed and muzzled; and, yes, please also pick up their droppings
Fear not, we maintain these borders as much for your protection as the mammoths. In days of old, entire nations were stamped flat. We'd hate to see that happen again!
The Eagle Kings are having trouble penetrating the poetic miasma that hangs over the C'tisian diplomats. Is this what swamps are made of? As we lack a translator, we shall speak in our native tongue and hope to be understood. The Raven clan works hard to secure pastures for the mammoths, and they are required to work even harder securing those borders. Mammoths, you see, are prone to stampedes on a peaceful day, and when s
AoW:SM, since you brought it up, is a better successor to Master of Magic than WoM is right now (or as the base game will every be, to be frank). I'd suggest picking it up. Master of Magic itself is still a great game, but the AI shows its age. Oh, and before I forget, Dom 3 is indeed worth every penny.
Sauromatia has made their first hostile action against the Eagle Kings, and paid dearly for it. We will, this once, assume it was the work of a single misguided officer. But should it happen again, we will darken their skies with iron and ice.
Same boat here. I keep wondering if I've been kicked from the game for doing so poorly :P
All that and more! Don't worry. The rest of you will understand the new axis of power verrrrrrry soon.
The Eagle Kings, who exist above this world, by necessity must also place themselves beyond the wants and desires of the lower castes. They simply cannot police the comings and goings of peasant orifices. They are deeply concerned, however, to learn that gems exist outside of the lab.
Interesting that there is a noticeable lack of table talk.
In my case, I've just been having a tough time of it. I kept revising my pretender before the server went down because I just couldn't settle on a loadout I was happy with. I realized after the game started (turn 3 or 4) that I wasn't playing with the set-up I thought I was, and had more or less wasted the opening turns :( So now its all catch up, whi
Sorry for that massive delay (23 hours!) on turn four. Slipped my mind this morning, and I completely forgot after that :P
There are certainly some nice tricks Caelum can play, but they look tough without reaching critical mass. CBM really gives them a welcome boost, letting them contend even in the early game.
Amazing what difference the aesthetics of a map make! It almost undoes the niggling in the back of my mind that I really do not enjoy vanilla Caelum :P Good luck everyone!
Or just an easy AI, placed next to yours truly. Surely no one could object to me throwing myself on that troublesome grenade!
What about a crafted map? Dawn of Dominions could be fun, and the start locations are tailor-made to their respective races. Otherwise, there are other hand-crafted maps which use balanced starts.
Could possibly be some sort of backlash from the server downtime, though I'm just guessing. Never mind, the other responses make more sense.
Ask and you shall recieve. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4041965/DOM3_Manual.pdf That's a browser based pdf. I suggest you save the pdf itself to your hard drive, though.
I'm also using Windows 7, and my pretenders files are at the location I listed. It's a fairly common problem, and the llamaserver faq lists it... Here's the full path: C:\Users\**username**\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\dominions3\savedgames If you want search for the file, they're named like so: early_caelum_0.2h. Just replace caelum with your race of choice.
Have a look in: (your user)/Appdata (which may be hidden by default!)/Local/VirtualStore/Program Files x86/Dominions3/savedgames/newlords
I don't mind waiting a bit more for things to settle, but I am starting to get a little tired of the corrupt 2h messages for games I'm not ever part of :P
Has anyone besides Arco and C'tis tried submitting pretenders yet? I've been waiting on the automated confirmation mail for 3 or 4 hours now.
I vote for a stock map, if only because I find the random maps beyond ugly.
Hey! That crusade was noble and virtuous and the will of the divine! Though I do take all responsibility.
