Do you see long term support for it? i.e. DLC or expansion packs or even patches?...Is each country different form one and another? i.e. Russia and say Britain do they have different play styles? Also is the gameplay like Advance Wars?
I can't speak to support, as before this I'd never heard of the developer (it may well be their first game), and the producers have only a small catalog of indie games to the

As always, results very. But I think it's worth the 35$. I've been playing through my first game, and have yet to gain access to anything on the chemical or biological weapons trees, or any of the really devastating stuff like dirty bombs and nuclear missiles. I've yet to build a battleship or a carrier... And there is still a lot I still don't really understand . So while this isn't the deepest strategy game out there, there is certainly more to i
I'm enjoying it. It plays somewhat like Axis and Allies, but in a modern setting and with a map limited to Europe and northern Africa. Keep in mind I'm still playing through my first game, and on easy. The majority of the game is played via the strategic map, where units are produced, placed, and moved around, research, diplomacy, and espionage are undertaken, and provincial improvements are constructed. combat makes up the rest of the game, and it takes place in a hex-grid ta
For something different, I'll choose Caelum.
I've returned and I'm in for a match. My calendar is free until mid August, so there shouldn't be any interruptions on my end!
Arco may not be completely doomed, he still has 3 forts and a pretty good sized army.
Looks can be deceiving!
Please, yes. I submitted that turn so late last night that I just went straight to bed :) Best of luck to everyone, and especially Micheal, who is inheriting a bit of a mess!
I will be leaving Thursday morning. That should give me a final turn, so I could just send you a quick PM once I have submitted turn 27. If we're still waiting for the generation of turn 26 by tomorrow afternoon, however, feel free to switch out my email. I'll write-up a summary of what's going on for Micheal when I get home this afternoon, and send him a PM.
Yomi shall still be avenged!
Certainly true. You looked weak, and I needed new sources of gems. It really backfired on me.
Micheal spoke first, and he's free to take over. That said, Ti'en Ch'i has already taken half my territory, and I'm scrambling hard to raise some sort of resistance. I can't promise it will be a long substitution. Edit: Research is my only strong point left. I have a large army score, which actually surprises me as I've lost 2/3rd of my men. I wonder if my philosopher horde is inflated somewhat? Otherwise, I'm last or second to last in all ot
I will create a post in the official forums asking for a substitute. However, with all respect, two days is not a whole lot of time to find a replacement, louist. It's also good to mention such thing before the game (like "I have only 2 weeks and then I have to leave"). You must have known the game will be longer.
Your short notice is also my short notice, I'm afraid. The vacation was sprung on me last night.
Hey all, In two days I'm leaving for a few weeks of vacation, so I may need a replacement for Arcoscephale. I may not though, as it looks like I only have a few turns left before Ti'en Ch'i wipes me out.
Timing should not matter. But, I can't recall whether or not there are any indicators. One thing you can do is see if your master accumulates any fatigue after casting a spell. If he is, it isn't working.
I apologize for my super late submission, had some friends get engaged yesterday morning, which turned into a huge to-do about town. I was asleep 5 minutes after arriving home again, and I have to admit Dom completely slipped my mind. Thank you for the extension! Things are going... interestingly for Arcoscephale. We've acquired enemies and have been the target of martial and magical attacks.
Fine, Ti'en Ch'i. You have forced me to make use of my magical beasts!
Arcoscephale does not run, you merely caught us in the midst of our annual marathon!
Well, Arco gets some troops that nearly rival Abysia for the distinction of heaviest EA troops. They are, however, only human, and lack all those nifty abilities that make Abysian infantry so truly dangerous. Arcoscephale, compared to most races, can employ a wide range of different (in some cases mutually exclusive) strategies. The downside, though, is that you are more concretely tied to a specific strategy once you create a pretender than other nations are.
The more astute of Hinnom's citizenry will realize the treatment of mercenaries and sell swords is a level or two below that of Arcoscephale's civilians, who are asked to do little more than recline and contemplate.
Hinnoms theft of the long serving and highly decorated Elephant Corp will not go un-complained-about!
If we're jumping on the honesty bandwagon, Abyssia is the only nation I truly feared going into this. It's heavy troops bet Arco's heavy troops. It's mages are slightly more specialized. It's assassins are, on the whole, more cost-efficient than my seductresses. It's a tough race to beat, if given time to solidify.
Our Thinkers have uncovered numerous ancient claims that prove, beyond a doubt, that Arcoscephale once ruled from this sea to all the seas ever discovered by man, giant, or green gluttonous demon thing. Of course, whether we pursue these claims has much to do with the relationships between Themistoclese's Infant Son and neighboring pretenders.
Arco... whose capitol did you "step" on? ( or is that private?)
All know that Arcoscephale is a peace-loving nation that seeks only to protect it's own ancient borders. Any rumors to the contrary should be ignored, as all know Ti'en Ch'i is a nation of eunuchs and liars. That said, Themistoclese's Infant Son would love nothing more than for his neighbors to the north to f
It's important to note, as well, that heat does not impact the income generated from water provinces, which can make them more attractive to pretenders with strong cold or heat scales.

Oh, must have been those murlock units (begins with an 'I' I think. Troglodytes are bad, but Hinnom giants, especially those of the name Hanan'el are worse in every way!
They are actually a rare independent race you can recruit of martial artist turtle men.
