I don't think this is a bug. It's been this way for quite awhile. I agree, it's sad to see all those unique units & monsters go to waste. Since this only happens with higher level champions, and it takes some dedicated research to get them, I also think we should get to keep the whole army.

Derek - I'm still having issues with Quests. I started a new game and once again I found a Humble Inn which says I need Exploration to go on Medium Quests. I don't see any way to get Exploration in the Tech tree. I also have a Camp and a Humble Inn that say I need to learn Heroes to go on strong Quests. I've already learned Heroes. Thanks for the response. Glad it wasn't another bug you had to fix. I'll remember to delete & rebuild my custom sov with new versions.

Don't know if this is a bug or an actual game concept. I keep getting quests (Humble Inns usually, medium level) which require the Exploration Tech. I have yet to see Exploration show up in the Tech tree of any game I've played. I also don't see Exploration listed in the Hiergamenon. This goes back to .982. Now I always play a custom Sov - Amarian Warlock, so maybe this choice has blocked this tech. Just seems too basic a concept

Something is currently blocking me from higher level quests (needed tech has been researched). Do i need to do a reinstall instead of just updating, or are there some files I need to delete?

Don't know if this is a real bug or not, but I haven't been able to play higher level quests for the last couple of Beta's. Deadly quest needs Erogs Journal, which I just researched, but even after waiting a turn, game will not let me go on quest.
