to me this is what indie development is all about. every body bitches and moans about the lack of depth in big development house game designs. well here we have a company that is doing what most other companies won't do. is to keep changing the game until people love it. not just like it, or are ok with it. the game has become something more than a game, its become a community effort. everybody rants and raves about mods for games

i wish there was a way to let you bring up a small screen and let you place units in the order that you want them to appear on a battle tile.
does ctrl + m cheat still work? giving you 1000 gildar?
simply beautiful! i love it. you should have a go at making your own spells, i would like to see what you come up with. question tho, is it possible to add stuff to the battlefield that will stay? an example would be a spell that creates a stone wall that is impassible terrain. or perhaps a spell that makes something on the ground that you can park a unit in and give it better defense or a special ability? just wondering at how far
the problem i am having in my game is that the AI just puts masses of troops in its border towns. i had a 220 CP stack and the closest kraxis city had 280 CP stack in it. i looked just past it(i could see what was in all the cities even the ones in fog of war, bug i think, or atleast hope it is), they had maybe stacks of about 20 CP each. i just walked on past this settlement and took the next one. easy as that. i look forward to w
if you go into your faction management screen under costs, i think it is there. you may be able to click on it, can't remember. it tells you the total though i believe. edit: well i checked it, and looks like that admin costs aren't working properly. i had a few cities and no admin cost, however one of the factions did, not sure what triggered it though.
i have had only a single bug, that wasn't game breaking at all. it hasn't happened since 1.06.
i thought they changed it to an administrative cost. where each city you built would cost you gildar each turn.
you should check at the top left of the screen, he should be up there as an icon i believe. click him and i think it will zero in on him wherever he is.
so...whats the difference between a male skeleton and a female one? maybe the extra rib bone? lol
i think the sand golem should be bumped up to maybe a level 2 notable, or a level 2 quest.
yeah, you can. i think you have to have the required diplomacy tech first.
seriously? you do realize your on the internet, right?
well i favor a limit as well, you should just be able to create of find a ring that opens the whole map up. powerful artifact or something. i do like the cleverness in this though.
yeah i feel like this pretty much sums up elemental's combat. i personally vote for more depth, but this may not be what the designers intended.
well, yeah i can see you point. i love the game, but there really isn't much in the way of choices beyond attack/def/cost balance. i think they need to assign certain abilities to their weapons and armor. such as resistances to armor, damage types to weapons. i made a thread about getting polearm units to have first strike. add in a bunch more kits(like medic, and ranger kits). stuff that makes the battles more about tactics than maximizing yo
i know we have talked about this in the beta group, but i would like to bring it up again. the idea is that polearms(long spears, halberds etc.) should be a slower weapon with a first strike ability. normally when you attack, its A attacks B and then B counter attacks. i think that a unit with a polearm should get their counter attack before the attacking unit attacks(this would simulate a unit coming onto their threat range). this would
rest will do you good, freshen up the mind. take what time you need we aren't going anywhere [e digicons]:)[/e]
seriously, that looks perfect. i love the little delayed effect right before it goes off. very nice! you should def do a spell effect pack or something.
yeah, i would like this as well.
i don't know what happened, i just looked up and an enemy city that i have not conquered just changed its name to my capital city for no apparent reason.
welcome to the internet lifestyle, get used to it, this is the way its going to be until the apocalypse.
well you can do a couple things. 1. you can hire a female champion(assuming you are male) and propose to them. 2. you can talk to a faction with a single daughter and convince the ruler to let you marry his daughter. this may require a tech, it was in beta but not sure about now.
no worries here, your alot braver than me. you stand up a human being with a name among the massive anonymous internet. this is a daunting task not for the faint of heart. a person can only take so much criticism before they crack, even if they do try to not show it. i know that it would be easy to slip back into the unknown masses, but you persevere, and you do it for the majority of us that appreciate what you do. i hope that you
yeah i think they should be able to level up at anytime, just not create more cities. i want them to get stronger as the game goes on, and offer more diplomacy options with them.
