does anyone else know if they are having memory leak issues?

ya, I think part of the prestige should be converted to something. The way the mechanic works it's like people are showing up to the city and immediately starving to death because there is no food...when there is a city a few tiles to the south with plenty of food.
High initiative is OP. With only a few more points of initiative you can end up taking almost twice as many turns as an opponent.
I still think a city should get something for the prestige it's wasting... like something. I'm not saying you should get to build many many cities with impunity. My point is that it's not really worth building a city unless there is plenty of food there imo. In my current game, which I started before I really understood how the mechanic worked (which only has one food resource) but plenty of resources is pretty useless compared to another of my cities with 5 food and 1 or 2 materi
I know that that's the point. I just don't think players should be penalized when their cities can't grow. It makes cities with high grain far FAR superior to cities with low grain and high materials.
I really think this needs be changed in some way. Cities that can't grow anymore should not get a full share of your prestige pool. I understand that to let them use zero prestige would cause a balance issue, but to always allow every city an equal share is silly to me.
Prestige is wasted on cities not growing... I consider this a bug because it doesn't make much sense to me. I don't understand why my prestige would be wasted on cities that aren't growing. Why wouldn't those citizens go to one of my cities with enough food for them? I understand that prestige is spread across your cities to prevent you from just
I can beat you dark. Sovereign plus one champion used over 300 mana in one of my auto resolves. Also, auto resolve is pretty broken besides that. Instead of it actually simulating the battle, it seems to just calculate how much damage each side would do to each other and then apply that damage one at a time to each unit. This results in a few units dying because they took all the damage for some reason while some troops receive no damage.
I don't know that it's buged. I read a dev saying that if the tile is too close to another city it won't bother showing you the yeild. aka, the game only shows you the yield of tiles that you can construct cities on.
Actually there are a few improvements that provide like extra gildar or research ect. if the production que is empty. Though I think all those are special unlocks from city level ups.
A simple "stacks with previous level of this skill" in the tooltip would clear the whole confusion up. There are probably other traits that could stand to have that tool tip as well.
Now that I have a better explanation I like how this works. The tutorial could stand to be tweaked to explain this better. Quick question about prestige. Is the growth distributed even to cities that can't grow anymore? aka, does the game "waste" prestige by allocating some of it to cities that are at their max capacity (based on food)? If so, that could stand to be changed. -I still think it would be a cool idea to allow players to select a "city specialty" when the found
I do have skype running in the background, and after what Microsoft did to it, that could be the issue. I also have super anti sypware running it's spam shield thing. I did have iTunes running at one point. I also have firefox open
Ok cool. I'll forward the email to you as well. Also a side note, I can keep playing my game, and as long as I don't have to load then I don't have a problem saving. The crash comes if I load and then try to save, though I was having that problem earlier in the game, so may it's just cause I'm a decent number of turns into the game. Not sure. Haven't tried starting a new game yet.
I like how it is now, not too intrusive. You could put a selectable option for players who want more so that players get a pop up when construction is complete. Just an idea.
also, how many of the crash logs do you want lol?
No I just emailed it. I didn't see where to submit tickets. The link you gave was an email address no?
Just emailed my crash dumps and my debug.err for the memory leak issue
Finally found the folder. It has many many crash dumps. I sent you two, though I have many more. debug.err is in there as well. It was emailed and has the subject: Fallen Enchantress report - Memory link. I also link to this post in the email.
Here is some more info that may be relevant. On that turn I saved before I attacked a shrill lord. Then, right after the battle, my champion was moved over to the side instead of moving onto the square <img src="http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w312/Stoweshow/FE%20bugs/FallenEnchantress_1327087441.jpg" alt="" width="788" height="4
is it the zip file with a name like "-2012-01-20T02-24-47-879" ?
Ok, well I'll send it you as soon as I figure out where it's located on my machine. I have tried several times to find it lol. It doesn't help that I can never remember how to search for hidden files on windows 7.
I agree with Heavenfall that melee champions out pace casters. I would consider making intelligence count toward spell damage/effectiveness in some way.
Nope the crash still occurs if I retire all the way out of my game.
What I mean by loading a few time is that I go out to the main menu and load from there. I wonder though if that is still consider loading from inside the game. I'm gonna try retiring and then loading a few time and see if I still get the issue.
