You definetely have an excuse as to why you don't want to play football with your son whe he is a teenager.....could you imagine the damage THAT could do to you? Don't feel too bad, my dad broke his shoulder and arm while swinging.....of course, he didn't break it till he did a backflip out of the swing, but it was still hard to explain to his 1SG!

The girls are adorable. Congrats on actually getting pictures.....my son was so excited that every photo is either blurred or just his foot as he is running away.....I suppose it is appropriate....He was batman and superheros are never photographed....

how could anyone NOT want to read you? Sometimes the timing for comments is off, but reading is addictive....
It's amazing how anyone from our generation will be able to tell you what they were doing the morning of 9/11....kind of sad too. Matt had just walked out the door and I was putting on my boots before I went to finish clearing post. I remember that I sat for probably 20 min with only one boot on and the other one in my hands. i didn't care about making my appointments right then. I was just in a state of shock. My husbands car didn
For those who have read my articles, you may know of the one great force in my life. I'm refering of course to my two year old son. It may seem as though I am always at the end of my rope with him, but the truth is, he is a wonderful child. Disaster stories are just easier to write about....and funnnier. But part of being a mom is enjoying the quiet moment
I am strongly opposed to late term-partial birth abortion. That being said, I have a hard time claiming the right to make the choice for a rape victim. I can't say that I can think of anything that would force me to choose an abortion (and I have been through a lot) but I am still unwilling to force my personnal beliefs on others. Food for thought...A baby born at 23 weeks has a 25% chance of survival. If I had at that much, I would beg y
Well, gosh LC. I hope that this blog didn't open any wounds about children. You are a blast to hang out with....and I'm glad you didn't have theurge to strangle my son...(I did)
fantastic!
Oh yeah....Don't try to fake a fever by drinking hot coffee and using an instant heat pack.....The PA will make you get a rectal temp every hour on the hour for 24 hours. (thank god I wasn't on duty that day......)
Link This link is to skippy's list of things they can no longer do in the Army....I cracked up....especially #145 and 146 I would add the following. (note: only some are personal...) Dont' use a 10 guage needle just because someone irriated you. Don't tap the needle on the sin
In high school I came up with a really crazy term paper.....I wrote it as my (ultimately failed) plan to take over the world by releasing a swarm of bioengineered termites that ate tires, rubber, plastic etc. I planned on selling bug spray to the highest leader, but unfortunately on the way to the news summit, I succumed to my own traitorous bugs.....my car carreened out of contol and over a cliff. The end. The moral of the story....Make s
It's hard to be a singleton in a sea of couples. I hated holidays when D was gone. Everyone was with their family, and there I was...single. Just me and the kids. Dont' worry to much. Next year, he can hold your hand as you walk around the neighborhood
Thanks for not laughing at me! Blue, He is in Bagdad.... Texas, thanks for trying to make me feel better....but you probably never did it with FIVE boxes. I am really a dope. Fortunantely my husband loves me no matter what.
I hope that I am not losing my mind. Yesterday I got FIVE boxes in the mail. They were all boxes that I have mailed to my husband over the last month....... Why, may you ask, did they get sent back? Simple. I put the WRONG ZIP CODE on them. I used the zip from when I was in Bonsia in 99. I didn't think I even remembered that and now it turns out that su
I have noticed that I blog in spurts. I will have periods of motivation and then spells of apathy. I'm trying to force my self to get up and get out but as all who have been pregnant know, the last few weeks just seems to drag by. So please humor my strange posts.....I should probablly just email you, but I think it will be a blog since I have very little to talk
As soon as I saw him, I burst into tears like a 2 year old...I don't know what it is about being around him when I'm ill, but he always has that effect on me. Somehow, I have the same reaction when my husband is around......I'm glad that Dave was there to help....
Island gurl had it right.....Things happen for a reason. You may never know what the reason was, but you can be grateful for everyday. Find a quiet space with your sweetie and let it out.....it will do you good.
I read through the whole thing....I was a little worried aobut you. I know how miserable that pain can be.....I hope you feel better soon.
My husband (you know him as Hyperboeran Wanderer) and I were in school at DLI. We had been dating since April 11th (That was the day I took the other guy's ring off...long story in itself) On Memorial weekend, he had flown home for his sister's wedding. I couldn't go, partly cash flow issues and partly because there were no avalible flights... He was only gone for 3 days, but I was going stir crazy. i hung out with some girlfriends and tried
In a recent article, I was blabbering on and on.....maybe even bragging a bit about how I'm doing really well this pregnancy. See link... Link Anyway, so maybe I incured some bad karma or I am just at that point, but now...sigh. Now, I feel pregnant. Big, huge, slow, tired and unweildy pregnant.
Bluedev: Thanks for all the help. I'm still learning how to get my computer to do what I want when I want to do it.....I'm glad to hear your wife sells stampin up....email me and I will order from her!
I think I'd have a hard time telling him "no"....about anything! There are times I just can't resist his charm....he's a lot like his dad that way!
