Was up for it due to my job, which involves looking at the sky. Don't think you guys missed much.
Suggest spawned bandits do not give Experience, otherwise we might see folks farm those bandits.
Yes, I'm interested.
I often wonder if Impulse could have been GOG if Brad had a different strategy in mind. There was an indie focus with Impulse when Stardock ran it.
in my opinion Adblock Plus should be avoided for their business model (whitelisting ads for a part of the revenue) anyways. better use AdBlock, i can also recommend Adguard: http://adguard.com/en/welcome.html
You can turn off the whitelisting so it's not too bad.
So far, my favorite aspects have been the future concepts in the vault, and the fact you offered a "buy everything at once" option. When 2019 or 2020 hits and you're thinking about another fantasy game, I hope that I can afford it, and I also hope you do the same thing for that as well.
I have to agree that initial colony should be placed manually to boot- with the AI having some hard rules on how to do it- no bonus tiles, place least likely to block adjacency bonuses
I was disappointed in the quality of the Dead DLC. I am disappointed in the amount of content in this DLC. That said, I am not disappointed in LH in general. It's solid and I got my money's worth. I'm a completest. I tend to buy all DLC for a product if I enjoy it. If I don't, I feel like I'm missing out. This is why I avoid certain games, because I know what they'll do to my wallet. &nb
I don't want punishment or rehabilitation, I want retribution
In this case, does this mean she should have to watch all of Duck Dynasty followed by every Toby Keith album in one sitting as her punishment?
I still think it's a sad day, because I liked having an altenative to Steam in case something happened to it. That's not me being anti-Steam, though I was when I was younger due to not liking how slow Steam is (and it's still clunky to me compared to Impulse)
I don't think that concept would work, because then it would be for the player, get the shards, defend them, win. That's easier than conquest. I think part of what made FFH2 work so well is that it was low magic.
Amazing how much Gamestop paid for it, and how little they actually did with it.
Noticed you have a Misandry trait in there, but what if I wanted to do extra damage to women?
Honestly, I'd be really upset if Stardock switched to cheating AI's. The AI quality is what keeps me coming back. This is why I wish Elemental 2015 and LH could be combined in 2019 or so when Stardock's ready to work on the next-gen Elemental. I can understand it a bit more for fantasy games. I expect GalCiv 3 continues the tradition of honest AI.
None of the new class talents show up on sovereign creation.
I think that would be a good idea. While Stardock games have always been heavily about quality> quantity, I think it went a bit too far in the Elemental games.
She's stupid as all hell, but this should be $50 and time served type of deal. I don't like ruining someone's life over a stupid mistake that resulted in no serious harm. Also, I don't like giving the security state any more excuses to take away liberty.
I just have doubts whether the Civ5 engine can do this well enough to be worth my while, especially with GalCiv3 and other games providing good competition. I'm going to wait and see what reviews are like for this game before plunging- this is not a pre-order after how Civ 5 was.
My guess is it comes out 4/24 with the DLC- the DLC requires the patch.
Crazy. I figured the GalCiv3 budget was at least equal to AOW3. Notch really did a moneyhat. As for AOW3, I'm starting to like it a bit more now, is I'm accepting that it's not what I wanted and I had a heavy dose of nostalgia goggles (AOW1 was my first commercial PC game)
I really wish I could customize which cheats an AI could have. That might solve some of my issue with the game- I really can't stand certain types of cheating, but am ok with other types.
To be fair, no game is ever 100% finished. Brad didn't think GC2 was 100% finished, as he was going to work on another patch, but the engine was so old that the tools to work on it didn't work with Windows 7. The FE thing doesn't really bother me since I got LH, and LH > FE by a good bit, but those who stopped with FE should get the patch they were told was coming. It's a bit of a bad look to me. (that sa
Yes, Tatty lol Anyway, I'm done coming here for the hopeful update. I realize that GalCiv 3 is a focus at Stardock right now, but not getting any information on 1.6 is just getting frustrating. LH is a good product that is a few patches and some DLC away from being great. It would be a shame to never see it reach that potential.
pretty sure LH will get
Quoting Tattyhat, reply 99 Cheating AI, here we go again. Can no one program AI anymore? It seemed to be so much better in old games that run with only 48/64k. its just impossible to make ai with the level of actual players when we played with 64k we were 8 years old with no background now i play videogames for 30 years, ofc no ai can match me and ne
