The poor don't produce? In that case why do they work? Quite honestly, though I didn't start a business, I did the same thing you did in my 20's- I put every cent into saving/bringing down debt, and I didn't have much. (I'm not the sort who should run a business, I understand that, I don't have the mentality) I don't think anyone's saying that you shouldn't be rewarded. You deserve what you hav

It's rare in any game that the ai plays fair, and it's certainly not true here. It's already been proven that the AI gets free essence, less monster attacks, and the ability to found cities in unsuitable spots.
Stardock m

I'd suggest on the berserk change, that you throw it into the spell itself, and not allow berserking period under 10 hp. Otherwise it's advantage human.

In regards to modding and MP, I'd suggest the following The community will come up with house rules sooner or later, they do with every MP game: my suggestion is to allow for MP mod, and maybe even have a standard mod at some point- maybe after 6 months have the community pick a mod to be standard, and then mod the engine for the needs of that mod. And yes, kingdom/fallen needs to not be hard coded. At the very least, that hurts Krax bei

Instead of bring Beast lord down, lets build up the other options. You can achieve balance in 2 ways, by making every choice weak or making every choice strong. Making every choice a strong choice is a hell of a lot more fun than making everyone meaningless. Beastlord

Elementals should be standardized to lvl 4 summons and all elemental spheres should get one.

THis is a single-player game, it doesn't need to be balanced in this way. I wouldn't mind seeing buffs on some of the weakest champs though. Give them something unique.

I'd love to see some randomness in the items myself. You can have a burning axe and a banishing staff, why not a banishing axe or a burning staff? If you're really lucky , you can find a banishing burning sharp axe of +2 Getting the proper enchantments should require training blacksmiths, and should have a chance of failure if you try multiple enchants on a weapon.

Given this game is 2.5 weeks past release, is it really buggier than Civ IV, AOW:SM 2.5 weeks after their releases? Given the development time, it should be less buggy, and I think it is, but I think some of you guys are forgetting how messed up those games were before patching and in Civ IV's case two expansions to get it right. I won't say expectations are unfair, as there are some things I'm disappointed in myself, but I think some

Diamondskin is supposed to provide 3 turns of protection? It seems to only provide 3 blows of protection. Backswing either gets around or neutralizes it somehow- diamondskin should provide immunity from backswings.

A better solution to me would be having bloods unlock unique promotions ,both on champions and regular units. That could provide your uniqueness. Could have some negative things in there too, like tarth units adding 1% unrest if stationed in a city, stuff like that. Fewer unique weapons, more unique traits.

Noticing it is slightly worse in the early game, slightly better in the late game for me. Being better in the late game is better as a tradeoff.
Should almost do a poll on this: Would you be willing to give up player designed units to have a greater visual variety in the races? Basically, the limitation is that each body type / skeleton requires its own set of clothing, armor, etc.
I'm unsure. I'd definitely give up some things for visual AND gameplay variety. Examples of things I'd give up:

One insta-build I would like to see- Gov.sovereign with road building should be able to use it on the strategic map as a toggle to build roads everywhere they go, but it would be a lot more useful if roads weren't instant but instead worked 1 square per turn. Certain techs might up the road building rate to 2 or 3. I'd suggest that governor road building opportunity require troops to lay the road though. Another poss

The AI should constantly be peppering you with various insults (or buttering you up with new compliments). The added stamps + getting the game free is why I'll get this, though with a bit of grumbling. I was kinda expecting this is a way to make up for all the freebies though- I just hope Stardock doesn't get as bad as Paradox when it comes to DLC, as in Paradox's case, that has actually stopped me from being one of their customers- CKII was the last straw, I don't think I'll be buying EU4.
It's not a proposed map pack. It's the first DLC. If you don't want more crafted maps, don't get it.
If you are going to go ahead with this: for this to be worth my money, you'd have to include some new stamps and improve the RMG. Now that I would value at $5. I still don't think doing individual DLC is a better idea then bundli

Blizzard just gouges you in other worse ways, and the quality of their games has drastically reduced. That said- I really don't think the DLC option is a good direction for STardock- it might make a little short-term money, but carries risks. Now: if you combined enough DLC's to make a $10 mini-expansion, folks would be more willing to pay for that- map packs could be part of that (but you'd probably need something everyone would want

A game like Fallen Enchantress lends itself to content ce

I think hand-crafted maps won't do well as DLC, but other DLC might. I know personally, I would be interested in DLC provided it added to the sandbox, but I really dislike pre-crafted maps (random is always best) Saying this not to pooh-pooh, but to get future content if the original content sells poorly (which I suspect it would). Perhaps you should put up a poll listing your DLC ideas and see what the players here rea
