One thing I'd like to see on the upgradable units- maybe a way to avoid selecting certain items on upgradable due to costing crystal instead of metal.

I think there would be interest. People would be interested in stronger AI's for their own games, or AI's that are best suited to the type of game they want. The only question is who would design those AI's?
I suspect power users will want this yesterday- other folks won't notice. Maybe a big flash virus might help, and a low-resource HTML5 browser would help. I want to get rid of Flash ASAP, such an annoying program.
Why is it air elementals are only summonable via scroll, but fire/earth are lvl 4 summons, water is lvl 3. I think it should be universal lvl 4 summons. (water elemental would need to be buffed slightly) Overall, there is a need for a few more spells in the elemental schools 2 Spells for each as an idea Air: Summon Air Elemental- level 4 Suffocation- lvl 2 air spell, does damage e
There was a campaign to 1-star the book led by the wife of someone who got permabanned on QTT for being extremely vicious towards Brad. It's part of what led to the splitup of said forum 1 year ago.
A Lore Pack is something I'd want more than a Map Pack.
Been playing this game, but trying to figure out how to make retinues larger- this game isn't documented well at all.
It shouldn't be random. Why would Ceresa or Procinipee be Warriors for example?
Any limit per faction buildings should be destroyed on conquest. That would also be useful for any buildings you'd want destroyed on conquest, you could make a limit 1000 per faction to allow that to happen.
Paths should be based on sovereign traits, with some random factor.
How hard would it be to a put proper dual wielding system in? It's something I would want for the expansion.
Quoting Lord Xia, reply 7Nym is the shit. I love that guy. I can't wait to see what a bad ass he will be. In the first game he dual wielded and attacked super fast, had like 10 attacks a turn, but the combat was a lot different in that game. He was my favorite character in the book. Dual wielding Nym with 90 initiative..
Why isn't dual wielding in the base gam
Suggestion: throw some of the chars into the sandbox game as extra heroes.
Henchmen really should have a cap- maybe 1 per 200 points of population among all your cities.
I'm wondering if the separate phases for monsters and players is borked beyond just wildlands. I had it happen with some random monsters.
1.1 helps, but I don't think it finishes the job (the job is never finished) What I think is needed - Quick Combat/Tactical combat need to approximate each other in results more - Wildlands need tweaking - Some things are critically/comically underpowered, and need to be made useful (Knights of Asok/other recruitable monsters, wonders, some other things)
This wouldn't be from 1.1, but from earlier if this is right: Earlier you changed things so monsters move in their own phase to prevent monsters/players from entering the same square at the same time and not having combat. Did you do this for wildland denizens as well? It looks like you didn't, because earlier today, I had this happen repeatedly.
Last I heard was before Christmas, which means either this week or next week unless there's a delay.
Haven't seen any changes lately- does this mean you guys are close to being finished?
One of the ex-bronies I know is heavily into that now.
The penalties for losing are much higher in other genres. In a TBS, bad end= start a new game. In an MMO, you lose time. In a fighting game, you have to hold the L. This is a big reason why changes aren't as complained about- you don't have to worry about the competitive side in single-player games. Put multi in a Stardock game and things might change if the multi becomes popular enough.
How do you guys at Stardock find these obscure review websites?
When you have a good game, and the mainstream sites are too busy to cover your game, you gotta go looking. Also, the reviews are important in restoring Stardock's reputation after WOM. It's not a conspiracy against Stardock, this is just the busy time of the year for reviewers. Brad has always taken a lon
Quoting Alstein, reply 176Life without parole is more inhumane than the death penalty. Dying in prison after 50-60 years , it's less cruel just to shoot or hang the guy. (I'd replace the chair/injection with shooting and hanging, which is less cruel, but shooting would be reserved for ex-military who served honorably) Makes sense. Are bullets more expensive than rope btw? Or is
The genre tends to attract more mature posters, a smaller forum attracts fewer trolls, and most of your long-time customers, who tend to make the bulk of a long-time forum, have been well-satisfied over the years. Also, your detractors have their own personal forum, so those folks go there and not here. ^_^
An 8 is a fair score- if you view this as a reboot. As a sequel, I would be harsher. This game has a great formula, but it's incomplete with some rough spots, and it would probably need 2 sequels to reach its potential.
