Honestly no armor isn't as big of a deal. Monks are my only units I produce from town, as the demons do incredible work for me getting my champions up levels after I babysit my demons to 9 stack. Auto combat doesn't seem to produce kills by the demons getting them their increased stack count by the way.

Here are the settings for my custom faction (just for fun). I wanted a magic centric race with quick power. I can scoot out and get as many shards as I can reach without monsters attacking my, and I get free powerful units from binding. Hero Name: RAISTLIN Strengths: Adepts (shard harvesting) Binding (incredibly powerful Cyndrum Demons for free!! How else can you get 9 units in one

The talent does not override the weakness. Which makes sense, its just worded in such a way that one would believe that recruiting champions is free. Create Sovereign: Talent: Natural Leader: Recruiting champions is free. Weakness: Cruel: +1 to attack, +50% cost to hire champions Cost to hire my first Champion: 56 guildar.

Reply to Beta 4 start? in FE Beta

Not to be a stickler but on May 17, 2012 10:11 PM it was posted that "The next beta (Beta 4) won't be here for about a month. That beta is all about your civilization. A new city construction system will be introduced, the FE specific economic system will be introduced. " So about a month from that point is only but a week away!!! *stares at monitor waiting*

Dear kickass eFe developers: Please implement a method for selecting multiple targets for any spell that allows multiple castings. ie. Buffs (stone skin/regeneration/ etc) I was in dire straights and needed every buff possible to survive a Magnar attack. Eventually after preparing my army of 7 troops with several useful buffs I was able to win. So to cast one spell, click cast/pick the spell/click army/click target/click confirm, that is 6 clicks

I for one HATE Steam. Or at least I did until I read your reasoning for distributing via Steam. Let me explain. I have piss poor country internet. On a good day I get 70kbps, so having to log on to Steam to play a game I bought a DVD for and took 2 days to download updates for. That really irks me. With that said, I don't typically complain about it unless I am asked my opinion, I just avoid Steam games when possible. It seems more unlikely these days to find a non-d

I do like how the combat maps can have tree's blocking squares, making bottlenecks. Being able to lure the enemy to a bottleneck helps win battles against more powerful enemies. I would love a more robust terrain system, but not at the expense of more development time.

I've started probably 4 different games, and the one I completed I played as Oracle Ceresa. The one I completed was thoroughly enjoyable, although I relied heavily on the mass poison spell (can't remember the name) to wipe out armies much more powerful than me. I haven't found another faction with as much power as an underdog. Not only the mass poison spell but the numerous elementals created from the various shard sites, made it uniquely powerful. Kara

Yeah, i did some trading and if you trade for tech in which you are currently researching in, then it goes towards your current research project. If you trade for tech outside of your current research field it allocates the points towards something next in the branch for that area. ie. I traded for warfare points, and it took 2 seasons off Archery. I already had Blacksmithing researched at the same level so the only other option would have been Warg Riding.

I have had the issue a few more times *possibly associated with the running man* but I have always managed to work my way out of the bug.

So my neighbor to the north frequently runs through my area, and I have been able to run through his with no qualms. Now all of a sudden everytime I try to cut through his land he bitches me out and makes me leave (or declare war). Not interested in war with him right now, so I complied and he booted me out. NOW he still thinks he has the right to cut through my land, so I keep catching him and giving him the boot, which he whines about telling me not to worry about him, that he is friends wi

Tech knowledge doesn't seem to be affected by perceived values, the computer likes 1:1 trades for tech, but what exactly is being traded? Are the numbers listed under my assets the total points achieved in that area? Am I offering points towards their next research in that area?

Through leveling up my heroes eventually lose abilities I have selected for them. The last one lost all of his abilities that he didn't start with at about level 8, with those I had previously selected being available again for reselection. This is particularly noticeable when planning a hero to specialize in one type of magic and have to reselect all his magic levels again.
