(1) How do you think we should refer to this game? Elemental: Fallen Enchantress or just Fallen Enchantress? >> My Vote: "Fallen Elementress" , I like Elemental better, but we need to distance ourselves from the first failed attempt. (4) What sorts of additional quests would you like to see? >> This is shaping up to be the best game ever. In general if you can sneak in tributes to any older 4x games it would be fun fo

Excellent Idea Alstein!
I haven't played the previous beta in about a month. Am I imagining this or does ranged combat actually seem more effective now? Either way I approve of this perception.
Those improvements sound amazing. I am excited to see them in action! As far as enchantments that use regularly I always use Enchanted Hammers and The rain one (can't remember the name, haven't played in a few weeks). And the Frozen Bones city enchantment to slow my opponents down before I attack. Other than that, I rarely use any other city enchantments.
I'd play as a Faction with NO Magic abilities for 1 week to get an update at the end of that week.
Known bug. Fun Programming Fact: that large negative number is the largest negative number that can be stored in a signed 32-bit integer variable. So theoretically what ever loop is reducing the damage number, keeps reducing it until the integer errors out and keeps the last number before the error.
I only play on Normal difficulty until next beta. I want to experience the entire game each time I play. When more balance is applied to the game and bugs are ironed out I will increase the difficulty.
From previous posts certain buildings further reduce the cost to hire champions. This is a known bug. If you want to know the work around, check your buildings that give the discounts and destroy them until it gets to 0.
Not that I don't agree with everyone, because I do, but to be the devils advocate: Shouldn't you be managing your outposts? Isn't finding them part of the challenge of the game? (don't flame me, I agree with you, i'm just being the opposing view here :) )
My favorite idiosyncrasy of movement, is attempting to move a unit while another is already moving, most of the time by the time you pick your destination and right click it switches to the next unit with movement points left which isn't the one you thought you were moving.
Maul. It should be renamed Molest because its so damn offensive :P
It seems to be different then that. I have 3 heroes in the first 3 slots. 3 groups of Demons in the next 3 slots and 1 group of monks at the end. In battle the heroes are at the back, the monks in the middle and the demons up front?
Even reordering your army isn't really implemented yet. I simply reorder my army by manually moving the first unit in a nearby square and repeat this process until I obtain the order I want.
No I did not. Still buggered.
The quest to get 2 dragon eyes - with both dragon eyes in hand, returning to the dragon statue when you are not a 'dragon lord' causes it to report the same message after every unit moves (reporting that you are not a dragon lord).
Awesome news Frogboy! All we can hope for in a game we want to love, is a team dedicated to producing the best game they can, and we got it.
- 2147483648 just happens to be the largest negative number that can be stored in a signed 32-bit integer
Nevermind, I think I found it on the West side of the map.
Need a fool proof method to cancel travel orders. Often times when in the strategic cloth map, when it chooses a path that I didn't expect I need to cancel the travel order. Unfortunately you need to be zoomed in enough to right click on its current square to cancel. This is not optimal. This most recently happened when my army wouldn't pass through one of my cities that was already full (another issue that needs to be looked at).
The area is in the premade map 'the tree of life' The quest is Conquer the Darkling city and claim it as your own. It is found in the South West portion of the map in a heavily forested area. The area is bordered in red, with no other controlling faction owning it. In this area are 3 darkling villiages (resources) and 2 shards. Has anyone done this quest successfully and remember what i'm Missing. I have 99% of the map uncovered and I a
On the other hand GFireflyE, having roads automatically created between towns and outposts (with the proper tech), is an amazing time saver.
If we have a road with a 90 degree turn coming up: I can manually step lets say West, then North and get the road movement bonus. However if i click directly on the target square, it takes one step to the destination diagonally without applying the roads bonus. Am I seeing this right, or am I wrong?
Thanks for making this seem like a group therapy session OrionM42, but well observed at any rate. lol
Kongdej, I will have to give that a try, it sounds interesting. Tuidjy, I have never played with 'enchanter', it sounds awesome, i'm gonna give that a go too. Thanks for the tips people!
I've never really used steal spirit Kongdej. What is your usage and strategy with that spell, if you don't mind sharing?
