[.915 Expected Casting Improvement]

Dear kickass eFe developers:

Please implement a method for selecting multiple targets for any spell that allows multiple castings.

ie. Buffs (stone skin/regeneration/ etc)

I was in dire straights and needed every buff possible to survive a Magnar attack. Eventually after preparing my army of 7 troops with several useful buffs I was able to win. So to cast one spell, click cast/pick the spell/click army/click target/click confirm, that is 6 clicks (not including the initial page turn) so that is 42 clicks to get everyone one buff, and I applied about 5 buffs which is about 210 clicks to prepare. Each time risking clicking the unforgiving 'end turn' button accidentally.

Simply adding a 'shift' toggle multi select for targetting the buff would made life easier.

Saving custom (or repeatable) lists of buffs to cast on army members would be amazing.

ie - perhaps you have a list of default buffs that apply to various combat situations (cold/fire) resistances etc...

Good idea.  Anything to reduce micromanagement would be welcome.

Well I am all about micromanagment, but it doesn't have to be as tedious as it is now :)

Well, its already set up so you highlight the unit and click cast. They should just copy AoW 2 where you click to highlight, click again to unhighlight, and however many are selected get the buff when you click cast.

This is the most intuitive way I have seen, I really liked that about Age of Wonders Shadow Magic, a lot of the spellcasting UI made rather good sense (to me anyways xD)

It would have to check you have enough mana though. ;-)  Maybe you could only select the number of enchantments of that type that would not bring your mana under 0?

It did so in Age of Wonders too ^_^ I thought checking mana came natural.
