As someone pointed out, Diablo 3 has a user review rating on Metacritic of 3. There are a lot of people out there these days

You can, though it's not officially supported. Look in the prefs.ini in the documents\my games\fallen enchantress folder
Sorry you don't like the game. But the purpose of this forum isn't to vent but rather to talk about the game, ask questions, get support, etc.
Yep. Anyone from oct 2010 or earlier gets expanded expansion we plan to make for free.
;) Indeed. It's an unintentional experiment in bandwidth use. Stardock still has all the bandwidth servers from the Impulse days (long term contracts). But we've never had a situation where tens of thousands of people were downloading a 3 gigabyte file within a short amount of time. It's fixable with either a) more bandwidth or b) a tighter Stardock Central or c) a combination of A and B.
With the launch of Fallen Enchantress, our download servers are pretty pegged right now. We're increasing capacity as fast as possible. This is NOT an official recommendation but here's one way to solve it -- a download manager. This is a program I've used to download large files before: http://internetdownloadmanager.com/ Once y
The servers appear a bit saturated. I'm trying it myself. It looks like we've brought down Cachefly's server network. There is...a way I've found around it. This is a program I've used to download large files before: http://internetdownloadmanager.com/ Once you have this installed go to http://download.stardock.com and do this:

I tried to warn you all that this Internet thing was a fad. Did I not warn you? The Internet is a fad. ;) Sorry folks for the download issues. I'm not sure what would cause it but I've sent the goons to check in with IT to find out what the deal is.
Gaming Ogre has put out the first review we've found. Here it is: http://www.gamingogre.com/review/elemental-fallen-enchantress-review/
Not getting enough FE talk here? Here are additional threads around the net where people are discussing Fallen Enchantress: http://forums.penny-arcade.com/discussion/168566/elemental-fallen-enchantress-stardock-does-your-mom-live-on-the-internet-right-now <a href="http://www.bluesnews.com/cgi-bin/board.pl?action=viewth
I never play the campaigns in games. Even Starcraft 2 I didn't even try it. For what it's worth, the Fallen Enchantress scenario is more of an RPG. You don't build towns. It's a champion stomp which I think some people will really like.
Sure thing. Just go to http://download.stardock.com It should be already there waiting for you to download.
I looked. It should be there on your account. Just go to http://download.stardock.com Enter your UID and PW (same as you use here) and voila. Should be ready to go.
If you bought the last game then you get this for free.

The 1.0 version has no copy protection or any requirement to be on the Internet to play. The only internet connection it needs is when you first launch it to type in your serial number to associate that game with your account so that you can get updates and future discounts.
I wonder how they taste with salt.
According to our testers, it takes about 30 hours to finish the Fallen Enchantress scenario on average. I was able to finish it in about 10 hours using..ahem..cheats. But let's pretend that it was because I'm just that good. ;)

My biggest worry has to do with reviews. This game, more than most, is going to succeed or fail on them. This is the first game we've done that had a "Reviewer's" branch on Steam and I fear the consequences of installing that over a beta. We saw some of this in the b

I don't know if anyone has printed it yet but it was sized so that it's just under 8.5 x 11 so that you could 3 ring binder it.
In less than 24 hours, Fallen Enchantress will be released in its 1.0 form! I'm in a bit of shock just thinking about it. Two full years of development. It's hard to believe how fast the time has gone by. Around 1pm EST on October 23, the game will be released. If you order it sooner, it'll be the last Beta (0.99) and it'll upgrade to the 1.0 version. I went around the office today to interview more people who worked on the game. Here's th
As some of you may recall, when Elemental: War of Magic was released in 2010, no one was more vocal or more specific in the shortcomings of that title than QT3's Tom Chick. Stardock took the criticism of that game to heart when it "reimagined" a TBS fantasy strategy game that ultimately manifested itself as Elemental: Fallen Enchantress. From the quick impressions: Stardock has really outdone themselves this time. If you like turn-based strategy g
