Looking at your game, could you try turning off the report window and see if that helps? (the per turn report window).

Thanks, Crafty. There is definitely some massive memory leak going on in your game. On turn 20 you had 1.28Gigs (which itself is too big). On Turn 21, it went up to 1.37 gigs Any chance you could get us your saved game (auto save will work).
If I had to wager a guess, I'd say it's something to do with your sound. But it's hard to say. It could be a compatibility issue with Danish Windows and some library. We'll need to investigate further.
It looks like your install is corrupt. Look at how it's not parsing any of the screen files.
Yea, if he found the book he should have an inventory button on his portrait. So you're saying clicking on that button does nothing?
No, there was a miscommunication with the build team on what maps were supposed to be included and none of the tactical ones (or even the seed maps) were included.
It looks like a few files weren't included in the beta update. They're rectifying it now.
Are you sure he has inventory?
Without any data provided and given that it's pretty solid in our internal beta, you really should look at posting some information. We can't help you without any data.
Update to beta 4.
Without any data, we can't really help you I fear. Please look at the beta posting guide. Thanks!
Thanks for the guide, Frogboy. My main interest is in quests, which sadly you haven't gone into. I am a bit worried that they seem too restrictive at the moment. Glancing at the quest XMLs it seems like they're exclusively associated with tiles, which means it's impossible to create a quest that starts from an item dropped by a creature, or a quest that has you loot quest items from creatures unrelated to the quest itself (for example, a quest to
Can we move away from complaining about SC2 and back to complaining about Elemental? :)
Thanks. Comparatively, the final version will be 100X better. Beta 3C is pretty terrible still. Beta 4 is a major step up and the final version a big step up still.
Beta 4 is scheduled for this Thursday. It's a pretty big update.

But you still need to give it some real concrete value for human v human games. If it's just 1 on 1 in human games then it won't do anything. But I won't lose sleep over that. I'd imagine in MP being able to manipulate AI players to be a big deal.
To add to that if that dragon is breathing fire, does that mean that you have started hooking up special abilities to Monsters/Champions. If so... Woot!
Yes.
for a budget of 5 million dollars you really are effective thats why i love stardock.
$5 million? I would love to have that kind of money to do a game. Elemental's budget is about half that and that includes the cost of developing its custom 3D engine.

I would eventually love to have magic mitigated by magical resistance, rather than mundane armor. I agree. I'm not sure how much Brad & co want to complicate equipment, but it would be nice to see at least a difference between armor and magical resistanc
