You can collapse items under the headings in the Crafting recipes list but the same buttons don't work under the enchant item screen.
Shields are not considered armor items, not a big deal, but a little confusing.

I always thought this was a bit odd, No idea why they did this
Especially since only heroes can equip shields and weapons... which is also a bit odd...
I wish there was an option where I could choose to make one solitary bipedal creature a hero or even more fun- the game randomly promotes one regular unit into a champion unit with a randomized skill tree. That would be cool!

I think it be interesting, if at level 10 or something, regular units upgrade into an elite version, with a simple talent tree or something.
Last stream they said they might allow other units to be equipped. Could create a big balancing problem though. Guess an east fix for that would be buff up SK forces even more in mid-late game, thus making it a almost necessity to equip your unites to keep up.. COOL
Yes, they should be in back so they have s chance at calling the sovereign or using scrolls
