How does the game look on a really wide screen monitor?

My computer monitor is getting flaky. I'm think about replacing it with a 27" wide monitor that has a maximum resolution of 1920x1068. Has anyone played on one of these new really wide-screen monitors? How does it look? Are you better of using a resolution less than maximum?

EDIT: It's likely the 1068 above is supposed to be 1080.

I am able to play on TWO 1920 x 1080 screens side by side, but it is a bit easier on one screen, and most of the screenies in the varoius threads are for 1920x1080, so you should be able to form your own opinion from the screenies

it looks great. But at 27", (i got one) its kinda a pain to look at all parts of the ui.

You got the screen full of so many good lookn' ladies that you forget to check each part of the ui before you hit the turn button.

I've requested before, and will again (knowing its not easy) that to ui be able to be moved around the screen to a spot you want it. I know it wont happen, but my neck can only turn 180 degrees. A 27" screen takes up about 80.

I got a new widescreen 27" monitor with the 1920 x 1080 resolution, and it indeed looks great!

In retrospect, my question seems silly. However, the 1920 x 1080 resolution wasn't showing up when I had my old monitor, so I wasn't sure it was supported. Of course, the new resolution shows up once you actually have the hardware for it.

Yeah I have the same type. I'm considering dual screen but that just seems like TOO MUCH viewing area. Then again I used to think 27" was too big.
