[BUG][1.0] No 3D assets are rendered

When I try to play FE absolutely no 3D objects are rendered, the UI is responsive and I can see the cloth map in game but nothing else.

I'm running v1.0 and stardock central is not offering an update.

Below are some pictures and a link to my DxDiag, the game isn't actually crashing so there's no dump being generated.

Update:

I've read through my debug.err file(http://pastebin.com/QdpqRyFY) and it seems the game can't find the core xml files. I'm going to reinstall and see if it remedies this.

A visible error message or something would've been nice.

have you tried running the game in administrator mode?

edit: if this solves your problem then it appears to be a windows bug, not a game bug, hence no error message.

I recall there being some issue with certain AA modes in the past that could cause a white map. You may try disabling AA and/or adjusting the Catalyst settings and see if that makes a difference.

I've turned AA off and it seems to be working now. However AA was turned on via the in game options and not forced through catalyst control center so I'm still inclined to call this a fairly serious bug.
