[1.0][bug][campaign] Chapter 5 starts, have duplicated characters. Portraits of them are missing.

Instead of removing a character (by cutscene) in the end of chapter 4, the game have doubled my characters. They are fully and independently functional and have the same name. However their portraits are missing both in strategic map and in tactical maps. Here is the example of the tactical battle finished.

I have the same problem. I have triplets of two characters. This makes the campaign much easier since they have duplicate gear as well. The problem comes later on when you cannot get rid of the duplicates from your army and you are forced to take additional characters that progress the story. Once you fill your army and technically overflow when you battle, it kills off the extra characters until after the battle is complete. Those characters will suffer death penalties and also not gain XP. I am at chapter 10 and can no longer level Relias because he is the chosen one killed each time I enter a battle. Very frustrating.

ran into the same issue. i was at the end of the game though so it was fine. at that point i just wanted to see the end of the story.. which, honestly was pretty great.

I've got this too, didn't seem too big an issue until I went on a bit, got more characters and found I couldn't take anyone out of the party.

Is there a fix for this? I's driving me mad!!

If there is a hack to just take out the duplicates from the save or resort the party that would be great - at least until a patch comes out.
