In past games, I've seen the currently active unit highlighted in combat with a colored outline around it. In .982, at least with my custom faction, I'm not seeing it. I have two spearmen units in combat below, one is ready to move, but without the highlighting you can't tell which one unless you hover your mouse over both units and see which units light up in the action stack on the left.
