Is there a place you can see a list of all active enchantments & summons that you have currently running?  Maybe with a note of who/what the target is, how much mana it takes per turn for upkeep and if there is an turn limit to it how many turns are left until it ends... Also perhaps a list of who is casting what spells that take multiple turns and how many turns remain to cast?  This would be good on a global scale if the AI is casting the end game spell you'd know you have x turns to kill him prior to the end of the game maybe.
