Loving 0.86 ( and thx for mini-patch, you guys rock!) but still really peeved by stacks of AI pioneers and lone heroes waltzing (whistling nervously?) past Death Demons, Shrill Lords and Air Elementals without so much as a pursuit.
My poor stacks get within one or two squares and WHAM!
I did not choose the "rub troops down in Bacon grease" trait when designing my faction
so here is a simple (I hope) idea to at least make it less unfair for the human player:
Pass Without Trace
Earth 1 (or generic if you want to make it more available)
Mana cost to cast: 15
Upkeep: 1 per turn
Area of effect: One army
Lets an army sneak past any monster on the overland map but DOES not hide stack from other AIs. So a jerky AI could dispel it on you just as you are tip-toeing past that dozing Forest Drake
And just as an aside... are you guys considering interdisciplinary spells? Like an Earth/Life spell that lets you grow entangling forests in your ZOC?
That would be a fun way to fortify chokepoints ...
Back to playing, thanks!
