Just finished playing through the Tutorial. I'm looking forward to getting into the game, proper. The videos were very helpfull. I do have some feedback about them (and the tutorial in general), though. Some of them are super minor things. I just mention them because the game is still in beta. No actual bugs.
* Establishing a city - Seems like an extra effort to hover over "Settle" to see resource numbers and then try and remember which square had the resource you wanted so you could move your sovereign there.
* Build an Improvement - If you are supposed to click on the grid to build a structure, there probably shouldn't be a large BUILD button right under the list of improvements. People are likely to click that and have their improvement built somewhere they didn't expect.
* Research - video says to select a research and click the "Learn" button. There is no "Learn" button that I see.
* Cast Inspiration - No feedback. Clear instructions.
* Capture Equipment Cache - Minor feedback - Equipment cache was off-screen. Since moving mouse against edge of screen or arrow keys did not move camera, maybe an instruction on camera movement would be helpful? Also, the New Pioneer Unit objectives and video popped up before the announcements of what I had found in the Equipment Cache
* Build a Pioneer Unit - No feedback. Clear instructions.
* Build an Outpost - No feedback. Clear instructions.
* Build a Mine - No feedback. Clear instructions.
* Recruit a Champion - Mission text - "There are rumors of a gathering darkness in the eastern forest [of] your realm." Is there an extra space between "axe" and "becomes" in Svedd's text box? Maybe I just need some coffee.
* Fight the Earth Elemental - Perhaps explain how to group the Sovereign with Svedd before heading off to attack?
* Defeat the Earth Elemental - Maybe slightly darken the initiative boxes that are repeat entries? Initial reaction was that there were 10 characters in this battle. Any way to speed up the casting animation or cut it short as the player? Took nearly 7 seconds every time I cast "Heal" to switch to Svedd's turn. Seems like that could bog down play.
