Discovered a wandering hero who's got a duplicate wandering not to far from him ( name of the hero is Arinoru)

People have posted on this before and devs have responded. While odd it is not a actually a bug. Heroes are generated randomly without any limit to duplicates.
The weird thing is that the wandering hero's portrait is identical to your hired hero's so you can't tell them apart (they show the same gear). I would never hire a duplicate, it would be too confusing for my brain.
Just hire-and-rename. Don't let the name stop you from hiring all the "savage-strike" Mapret & Nati clones you can find.

Actually, you dont have to hire them to rename them .
I had an army of clones in 1.1, it's normal... I never thought about renaming though
