Man I love income tax returns
. I picked up the new GeForce 560 Ti yesterday for my system and a new 2 TB HD for my wifes system. I brought the card home and installed it and I gotta say the upgrade was money Well Spent. I went from DX9.c to DX11 and the visible difference in gaming is outstanding as well as a drastic increase in frame-rate across the board on just about everything I've tried so far.
My GeForce GTX 280 is going into my wifes system so she's going from my old 7800 to the 280 which is a big upgrade for her too. Hopefully she won't f'k it up like she seems to do with anything electronic I put in front of her....*sigh*. I love my wife to death but she's..well, clumsy, to say the least. I always end up having to do repairs on her system because she moves things around or installs something she shouldn't.
Anyway, if you're looking for a new GFX Card anytime soon and you don't want to throw down the $499 for the GeForce 580, the 560 Ti is a GREAT BUY for the money. I highly recommend it.
