Just updated to version 1.1 and my game will not load at all. When I launch elemental the screen goes black and nothing happens. I've pasted a link to my debug.err file. I never had any trouble with version 1.09 at all.
Try reinstalling. As it's hanging on loading the fonts, one of them was likely corrupted.
I uninstalled and reinstalled twice to no avail. When I load the game screen goes black and all I can see is my mouse cursor. I have to bring up the task manager to get out of the game.
I had the exact same problem during the original beta. I had to delete the C:\program data\stardock\elemental - war of magic folder. It is hidden, so you will need to be able to see hidden files on your computer.
Before you start deleting files and folders, disable your firewall/antivirus. Worked for me.
Got it working. Instead of uninstalling, I deleted the folder as suggested and reinstalled. Thanks for the assistance.
