I mean no offense to the art team, but the art on most new spells have this "comics" feeling that feels misplaced on a fantasy setting. Call of the titans for example looks like something out of a GI Joe setting.
I think it's mostly a matter of personal taste I like the new art because in my opinion it gives the game some much needed personality.
I dig it. It's not exactly my brand of art, but it's colorful, it makes me study each piece and it's doing its own thing in a fantasy setting.
Art, as many other things in life, is something personal. I like it and it follows Elemental's art theme.
I really like the art style. I can understand why it wouldn't be to all tastes but I am really enjoying it. I think post 1.1 they need to give the quest screen artwork some more love however.
