This has been broken for awhile... it will set there racking up tech knowledge, but not researching anything if i don't manually launch the research screen.
Anybody run into this?
Yup. It won't even let you set research on the first turn, in my experience. It just won't admit that you have any research ability at all.
It appears to finally register on Turn 4 that I'm able to research and prompts me.
I've seen this as well, but I think that I can start the research myself, it just doesn't prompt until later.
Been begging for this to be fixed since beta zero.90
You can force it to start researching as of turn two, but it wont prompt you until there is a city up and going.
