(1.09n) instant lock

I have had 2 lock ups in about 10 minutes not sure what caused it. First game crashed before I had even chosen my opponents. Second game, I was able to start but took 2 steps and it locked again. Both locks forced me to power cycle my comp. to bring it back to life!

<updated video driver, New ATI release 0n the 17th. that seems to have fixed it, I can play it now!

Certainly those of us with Windows 7 64 bit seem to be getting a lot more crashes and instability. But hey it's a Beta, by it's very nature that means it's likley to have some issues hopefully they will be ironed out by the time they actually put the patch on general release that is the point of having a Beta after all.

Good point econdrum1, not mad about it I am just trying to help the process. I am glad I am not the only one how is having problems. I was starting to think something was seriously wrong with my machine!

Getting Hyper Transport Flood Errors frequently, never happened before. Was able to get the game to run for 2 hours before hard lock by running in Win Vista Compatibility Mode. I am going to have to quit testing until this issue is dealt with. Something is really messing with the hardware in my system, I can't run the Windows performance scan any more. system locks halfway through. The only thing that has recently changed in my computer is this Beta!!

Seemed to be a BIOS setting throttling down my CPU, not an issue with the Beta itself. on the new release and Training bug is relevant here!
