SO I jumped into the fray... I bought Elemental...

Hi all,

Well, I had the opportunity to try the game out over the weekend, and based on my impressions I went out and bought it right away.. I really wasn't going to based on all the negative feedback on the technical issues, and missing direction of the game, but I can't help but to imagine where this game will go from here..   The multiplayer prospects are amazing... I mean no other game offers this kind of customization.. Even the little things..

 

Anyhow, I am sure most people here have made the investment...  I hope it pays off!!   Add my $ to the support structure!~

Ignore solidsmooky, he misplaced his pet rock and hasn't been the same since.

Welcome aboard, you're just in time for the leadup to 1.1 and hopefully some expansion goodness early next year.

I just about made this post myself -- about jumping in -- so I thought I would add to the OP's thought's just a little. This game has it problems, sure, but as many have said, there is great potential here. I was going to wait for the demo before I made my decision, but the enthusiasm of the community and dedication of the SD developers towards making this game awesome, was just too much too resist. I look forward to being a part of this game and community as it grows.

welcome! the game good in some ways as is, and the game will be great when 1.1 comes out.  also you get those free expansions!

I had a soul once, it tasted like chicken... at least that's what the devil told me when he gave me Duke Nukem Forever.

Cool and kinda scary at the same time.  While looking forward to cool new stuff, there is a little fear that some of the bits I like might be ditched.

I am pretty excited.. I am sad that LAN play seems to be getting the shaft from developers these days.. This is a real bad trend.
