elemental 1.09e CTD on ANY map NOT stock [Fixed]

just wanted to test the memory leak issue again on 1.09eplaying my standard map/races/sov, but hit a FAR MORE annoying issue

the steps to reproduce are as follows

1 start elemental

2 start a new game

3 on world settings screen click load, on the map selection window choose ANY non-stock map, click load receive a CTD

during testing I had assumed it might be mods, customised races, even customised units/sovs, deleted ALL of the folders relating to all of them, but the CTD still happens at the loading of custom maps from the mygames maps folder .

I did NINE tests trying to identify the cause of the problem zip files were created for each of the crashes.

by the way WHAT THE ******(*******^&%^&^$#$%$^$%$%^$^ IS the QC group/person doing????????????????????????????????????????

they can not seem to notice such a major issue as unable to load custom maps.

if I had not decided to test the campaign first I would have found this issue within 10 minutes of finishing the downloading of the latest update

I am unable to do any further testing/playing in elemental until this issue is fixed

and it is the SECOND major issue involving custom maps since release

Yeah, this was discovered and fixed soon after the build went out...restaging as we speak.

Needless to say, Q/A has a very deliberate, direct focus when testing a build (if we had them test EVERYTHING, we wouldn't be able to put out builds at the speed we do). Apparently 'Test Loading Modded Maps' should have been a RC test instead of a weekly test (was working fine Tuesday), so we appologize for the hiccup.

Still embarissing on our end any time a hotfix is needed

If you've heard stories about Q/A testers having to re-play through an entire game as the gold RC is tested, every time the littlest code-change is made, know that those stories are painfully, 100% true, as are stories of those of Q/A testers throwing controllers, consoles, chairs, etc out the window in frustrated rages.

Fixed? I am having the same problem. I have tried to run Impulse to get the "hotfix" update. I get no update options. Would love to play on custom maps again. Every time I try to load my custom (newly created under v1.09e), I get an immediate CTD.

Added information - I am using a map made with Elementerra. Could that be a problem with the new patch? (Though it still does not resolve the no update/ hot fix issue).

Edit: I am also unable to get any pre-made Stardock maps to load in the Cartographer's Workshop.

Staged fix is into the game. I have been able to sort of load a custom map. Any custom map (of which I spent hours making) reverts to a fully random map. When using the load map option, all I get is a random map, instead of the created map I chose to select.

Please add this to the QC fix.
