Can't update.

I installed this game on my 2nd computer, the specs aren't great, but the game will run if I don't update and stay on version 1.0. If I do the update, it just quits the game and then does nothing. I tried downloading impulse off the net but it won't run on my Windows XP 64 bit.

So I installed the game on my good computer that also has Windows XP 64 bit. And it updated fine, I didn't have to do any impulse installing. Does impulse automatically install with the game? I don't understand why it's not doing anything on this computer?

Impulse should install automatically with a retail install (the update popup in-game just calls Impulse to start), but please note that Windows XP64 is not a supported OS for either Impulse or the game.

It does work on one of my computers that has Windows XP 64 bit installed. And Impulse will work on it too. But it won't work on my 2nd computer with the same operating system but lower system specs.

The game will work though. I can play it without updates. So it does work on XP 64 bit. But I can't update it so it stays on version 1.0

You can try contacting [email protected] to see if they have any ideas. While it may work on one XP64 machine, that doesn't mean it works on all of them. Since we're not supporting XP64, we don't test on it or make any guarantees.
