Okay, this is very frustrating.  I've been building up a rather sizeable military, which of course is a bit expensive.  I did so starting with a bustling economy, but now my income is negative -- I'm staying in the positive by having a few stacks of doom out in unclaimed territory to knock down big monster stacks.

I finally got my hands on that rare Advanced Economics research that's supposed to improve your income by 10%.  However, it didn't seem to do much ... and I researched it again and confirmed it isn't doing squat.  I went from -29.7 income to -29.2.  0.5 gildar!?  My total income (before expenses) shows as 140.8 and my expenses as 167.6.  A 10% bonus should have improved my income by 14 gildar, not 0.5!

Its difficult and frustrating to be sure -- but I am no longer producing any units nor building any new buildings, so my expenses didn't happen to go up between just before and just after my last Advanced Economics research.  My income should have gone to about -15 gildar.

I'm going to research it again for a third time and this time take Kingdom Report screenshots before and after. :/  Will reply to my own thread here when I have done that ...
