Tile Editor - X,Y,Z Offset Incrementation Question

Is there a way to "fine tune" the X,Y,Z Offests so they increment at smaller intervals?  Currently, the slider (and wheel) moves them in significant "jumps" along the coordinates that makes it difficult to align the pieces with precision.

Also, is there any grouping functionality?

Any ideas?  Pointers for alignment?  A simple yes or no??

Edit the XML directly. That's the only way I've found, although I admit I've not actually looked very hard, because working directly with the XML is just so much simpler. Only downside is that you can't see the visual effects of your changes without restarting the game for every change you make.
